The cost of 8-FX is $47.89 for 80 capsules. If you take the recommended 4 capsules per day, one bottle will last 20 days. This is expensive for a diet pill. 8-FX Guarantee

Medical Research Institute (MRI) is the manufacturer of 8-FX diet pills. The MRI website has details of 8-FX, but it says nothing about a product guarantee. One bottle of tablets costs $58.95 for a one-month supply (again, with a discount for bulk purchases). There is no reason to believe either Phentermine-X capsules or tablets will cause weight loss. They do not disclose how much of each ingredient is included (probably because they don’t want you to know how little is really in there). Thus, any price is too much to pay for Phentremine-X diet pills.

The Phentremine-X website explains that they only accept returns of unopened bottles (so you can only get a refund if you buy more than one bottle). There is a $12 “processing” fee for all returns. However, the stem of the Sida Cordifolia plant contains high levels of Ephedrine, which has been banned in the U.S. Although the Lipodrene website does not list Ephedrine as an ingredient, it is very possible that Ephedrine is included as part of the Sida Cordifolia Extract. There is no clinical
evidence to show the effectiveness of Sida Cordifolia in weight loss.

Citrus Aurantium contains synephrine, which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. However,
Lipodrene fails to disclose the amount of citrus aurantium contained in their formula, so there is no way for this Lipodrene review to determine the effectiveness of citrus aurantium in Lipodrene diet pills.

Caffeine is a great ingredient in contributing to weight loss. However, you should be aware of your
personal reactions to caffeine before taking Lipodrene or any product containing caffeine. Unfortunately, once again Lipodrene fails to tell you how much caffeine it contains so you won’t know whether it will be effective or not.

5-Hydroxytrptophan (also known as 5-HTP)is an amino acid included in diet pills for its mood enhancing effects. While studies have shown 5-HTP does enhance mood, studies have not shown what the side effects of 5-HTP are.

Lipodrene Marketing

Lipodrene makes several interesting claims which they fail to back up. The Lipodrene website talks
about clinical studies done on Lipodrene. However, they do not mention who performed these studies,
when they were performed, or where/if the results are published anywhere.

Lipodrene offers a “Risk free trial”. They claim, “We are the Only Company Online that Offers this (RISK FREE TRIAL)” (website). The truth is there are several diet pill companies that offer almost exactly the same trial offer.

The Lipodrene trial offer says, “Simply try our product for at least 30 days. If you are not completely
satisfied – for any reason – return the product to us within 90 days for a complete refund less
shipping/handling fees” (website).

We do like that Lipodrene gives 90 days for customers to return products. We also like that Lipodrene
allows customers to return open bottles.

Lipodrene Cost

Lipodrene diet pills cost $39.95 for 100 tablets. If you take the recommended 2 tablets per day,
one bottle will last 50 days. This is quite inexpensive for a diet pill. However, since Lipodrene
does not disclose how much of each ingredient is included in their formula, it is impossible to determine how effective Lipodrene will be. Thus, any amount is too expensive for Lipodrene.

Is Synephrine effective? One study performed in December of 2007 looked at the lipolysis (fat loss) effects of Satsuma mandarin orange (Citrus unshu Mark) peel on the fat cells of rats (I know, it’s always rats). A high concentration of Synephrine was present in the peel and lipolysis effects were present.

The overall conclusion:
These results suggest that the segment wall, an edible fraction, from Satsuma mandarin orange might be useful as a functional food, especially as a fat-reducing material ((J Nutr Sci Vitaminol (Tokyo). 2008 Dec;53(6):547-51.)).
In a 2005 statement issued by Robert E. Brackett, a director at the Food and Drug Administration before the House of Representatives he mentioned that they had found a 4% concentration of Synephrine in citrus aurantium while other times finding a concentration of chemical Synephrine of up to 90%.  I suppose if you were just going for weight loss, you’d hope yours had the 90% concentration. This ThermoLean review finds that ThermoLean does not reveal the concentration of the Synephrine it contains. Yohimbine comes from the bark of an African evergreen tree. It has been shown to increase fatty acid mobilization. It is also used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Caffeine has been shown to increase metabolic function. Be sure you know how your body reacts to caffeine before taking any product containing caffeine.

Bioperine is an extract from the fruit Piper nigrum L (black pepper) or Piper longum L (long pepper). Both of these contain the active ingredient that you’re looking for: Piperine. They call it a “thermonutrient” because it “enhances the body’s natural thermogenic activity.” I don’t know if the ability to absorb more nutrients will directly translate into lost weight, but the added health benefits of Bioperine should not be overlooked.

ThermoLean does not disclose what the ingredients are in their “Proprietary Formula.” This is unusual; a lot of times companies have a proprietary formula, but they usually tell what the ingredients are even if they don’t give exact amounts for each ingredient. I would be concerned about a product that won’t even tell you what is in it.

How should ThermoLean be taken?

The ThermoLean website says that for fat loss you should take 2 capsules 30 minutes before breakfast and 2 more capsules in the afternoon.  For “extreme fat loss” take 2 capsules 3 times daily 30 minutes before a meal. They also warn not to take ThermoLean diet pills within 6 hours of sleep.

The website also states the following: “NOTICE: BECAUSE THERMOLEAN IS SO STRONG, WE RECOMMEND 60 DAYS ON FOLLOWED BY 2 WEEKS OFF FOR BEST RESULTS.”

How much does ThermoLean cost?

One bottle of 120 capsules of ThermoLean diet pills costs $37.99. If you take the maximum recommended dose of 6 capsules per day, one bottle will last 20 days. This equals about $57 per month. This is very expensive considering they don’t tell you everything that is in ThermoLean.

ThermoLean conclusion

This ThermoLean review finds that this is a mediocre product. It does contain synephrine and caffeine, both of which have been shown to contribute to weight loss. However, they do not give the concentration of synephrine used, so we cannot be sure it will be effective. Also, they do not list the ingredients contained in the “Proprietary Formula”. I prefer not to take anything that refuses to tell me what it contains. Choose a product that is forthcoming about its ingredients, one that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts.

A7-E is an ingredient found only in Hot-Rox Extreme diet pills. The Hot-Rox website says the following about A7-E

“A7-E is the longest acting and most effective fat-burning compound known to science. We’ve tested and tested and tested it. We know A7-E works and we know it keeps on working, day and night, 24/7. Simply put, A7-E is the master key that unlocks your thermogenic blast-furnace:

Too bad they give no information on the findings of their “tests”. This Hot-Rox Extreme review has no way to rate A7-E because Hot-Rox Extreme does not provide enough information about this ingredient, nor do they disclose exactly how much A7-E is contained in the formula.  This smells like a sham.

One study on coleus forshkohli (Forskolin) found:

“Oral ingestion of forskolin (250 mg of 10% forskolin extract twice a day) for a 12-week period was shown to favorably alter body composition while concurrently increasing bone mass and serum free testosterone levels in overweight and obese men. The results indicate that forskolin is a possible therapeutic agent for the management and treatment of obesity.”

Since the amount of Forksolin in Hot-Rox Extreme is not disclosed it’s difficult to know if you’re getting the 25mg of forskolin that the study suggests.
