ThinPhetamine is a diet pill that supposedly leads to:

“Increased energy levels.
Increase strength levels.
Increased mental activity creating deep focused concentration for deeper muscle recruitment and thus, muscle stimulation.
Increased metabolic rate causing your abs to get shredded and ripped.” (website)

This ThinPhetamine review will detail the ingredients contained in ThinPhetamine as well as explain the guarantee associated with ThinPhetamine diet pills to show you what you can really expect.

ThinPhetamine Ingredients

Vitamin B3 (as niacin & niacinamide) (60 mg) does not contribute to weight loss.
Pantothenic Acid (30 mg) has not been shown to cause weight loss.
Chromium (as chromium polynicotinate) (200 mcg) has shown varying results in clinical studies.
Proprietary Blend 854mg
Green Tea extract (leaf) (Camellia sinensis) has been shown to contribute to weight loss. However, ThinPhetamine fails to disclose how much green tea it contains, making it impossible for this ThinPhetamine review to determine if there is enough green tea to cause weight loss.

Caffeine USP causes weight loss by increasing metabolic rate. Again, ThinPhetamine diet pills include caffeine in a proprietary blend (most likely to disguise how little caffeine it actually contains).

Cocoa Bean extract (Theobroma Cacoa)

Yohimbe extract contributes to weight loss, but ThinPhetamine does not say how much Yohimbe it contains.

Ginger (root) has been shown to contribute to weight loss in rodents, but more human research is needed.

European Willow is an anti-inflammatory. More research is needed to determine the effect willow has on weight loss.

Cayenne (Capsicum (fruit) annuum) has been shown to cause weight loss by some studies, but more research is needed to determine what the effective dosage is.

Guggal extract supposedly lowers cholesterol, but research has shown it does not cause weight loss.

ThinPhetamine Cost

ThinPhetamine diet pills cost $29.95 for 120 capsules. At 4 capsules per day, one bottle lasts about a month. This is about an average price for a diet pill. However, all the effective ingredients in ThinPhetamine are included in a proprietary blend. Thus, any amount is too much to pay for ThinPhetamine.

ThinPhetamine Guarantee

ThinPhetamine has a 30 day guarantee. The website does not specify the details of this guarantee (what you have to do to get it or if there are fees associated with returns). We prefer to see a longer amount of time for a guarantee, and we like to know all the details of a guarantee before buying a product.

ThinPhetamine Side Effects

The ThinPhetamine website warns of the following possible side effects: nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, and occasionally, rapid heartbeat.

ThinPhetamine Conclusion

This ThinPhetamine review finds ThinPhetamine is just another typical diet pill. ThinPhetamine contains a few proven ingredients, but they are included in undisclosed amounts. Don’t waste your time with ThinPhetamine. Go with a diet pill that contains proven ingredients in the appropriate amounts.

HydroxyRip Extreme is “an unsurpassed, advanced fat-burning formula designed for bodybuilders and strength/high-performance athletes interested in maximizing lean muscle mass” (website). This HydroxyRip Extreme review will unravel the truth behind these claims to show HydroxyRip Extreme is just another diet pill.

HydroxyRip Extreme Ingredients

Caffeine anhydrous (300 mg) is the same as regular caffeine. It does contribute to weight loss. However, this HydroxyRip Extreme review finds HydroxyRip Extreme diet pills contain a very high amount of caffeine (since there is caffeine in green tea as well). You should consider your own reaction to caffeine before deciding to take HydroxyRip Extreme or any other diet pill.

Green tea (270 mg) has been proven to contribute to weight loss when taken in doses of 300 mg or more per day. Thus, you will only get enough green tea to cause weight loss if you take the maximum recommended dose of HydroxyRip Extreme.

White willow (60 mg) is an anti-inflammatory. It does not cause weight loss.

Deanol acetamidobenzoate hydrogentartrate (45 mg)

Inositol Hexaphosphate (45 mg) transports fat from the liver. It is used to treat ADD and depression.

Xanthinol Nicotinate (45 mg) is supposed to increase blood flow. Studies have shown Xanthinol Nicotinate DOES NOT contribute to weight loss.

Codonopsis pilosula extract 5:1 (30 mg)

Evodia Rutaecarpine Extract (30 mg) has been shown to cause weight loss in mice, but more human studies need to be done.

Inula racemosa extract (30 mg)

Yohimbe bark extract (30 mg) increases fatty acid mobilization, leading to weight loss.

Aspidosperma quebrachoblanco extract (15 mg)

Troxerutin sophora japonica extract (15 mg)

Cinidium monnieri extract (12 mg) has anti-anxiety effects; it does not cause weight loss.

Bioperine (3 mg) increases the body’s ability to absorb nutrients. More research is needed to determine if Bioperine actually contributes to weight loss.

HydroxyRip Extreme contains only three proven ingredients (caffeine, green tea, and yohimbine). You can find a much more effective diet pill.

HydroxyRip Extreme Cost

HydroxyRip Extreme diet pills cost $19.99 for 120 capsules. The NSI (HydroxyRip Extreme manufacturer) website claims the retail price of HydroxyRip Extreme is $74.99. This is common among diet pill companies; they want you to think you are getting a great deal so you will buy their product. If you take the maximum recommended dose of 6 capsules per day, one bottle will last 20 days. This is not especially expensive for a diet pill, but you could get a much more effective diet pill for the same price.

HydroxyRip Extreme Guarantee

The NSI website says nothing about a guarantee for HydroxyRip Extreme. This usually means there is no guarantee. If you purchase HydroxyRip Extreme from another website or retailer, they might have their own guarantee or return policy. Be sure you know what the return policy is before purchasing any product.

HydroxyRip Extreme Conclusion

HydroxyRip Extreme does contain some good proven diet pill ingredients. However, you can find these same ingredients in more effective diet pills for about the same price. Look through our recommended products to find a diet pill that will work for you.

8-FX is a diet pill that claims to do the following:

“Support metabolism

Support fat oxidation

Support optimal thyroid activity

Increase focus and alertness

Increase energy

Support mood

Increase norepinephrine, the “thermogenic” activator

Support cAMP-mediated fat breakdown” (website)

This 8-FX review will breakdown each of the ingredients contained 8-FX and explain the cost and guarantee (or lack thereof) associated with 8-FX to help you determine if this is the product for you.

8-FX Ingredients

Chromium (200 mcg) has been shown to cause weight loss in some clinical trials, but others have found that it does not.

Proprietary Blend for Focus, Energy and Mood Activators 585.5 mg

Neuravena Wild Green Oat Extract

Caffeine (50 mg per serving) does contribute to weight loss, but you are unlikely to see much of an effect from 50 mg.

DMAE is supposed to positively affect mood, but studies have shown some dangerous effects. More research is needed on DMAE.

Proprietary Blend for Lipid Metabolism Activators 395.8 mg

Coleus Forskolii does contribute to weight loss, but 8-FX does not say how much coleus forskolii it contains.

Raspberry Ketones have been shown to cause weight loss in mice when included as 1% of the total diet. To get 1% of your total diet as raspberry ketones you would most likely have to take dozens of 8-FX diet pills. DO NOT TAKE MORE 8-FX DIET PILLS THAN RECOMMENDED! More human research needs to be done on raspberry ketones.

Evodia Extract has proven to cause weight loss in mice, but more human research is needed to determine its effect on human weight loss.

Advantra Z contains synephrine, which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. The important thing with synephrine is the concentration (the higher the better). Unfortunately, 8-FX fails to disclose the concentration of synephrine it contains.

Green Tea is a clinically proven diet pill. To be effective, green tea has to be taken in doses of 300 mg or more per day. It is extremely unlikely that 8-FX contains enough green tea to cause weight loss.

Cnidium Extract is supposed to help circulation, but it does not contribute to weight loss.

7-Methyoxy-8-Isopentenoxycoumarin

Yohimbe mobilizes fatty acid, causing weight loss. 8-FX hides the amount of yohimbe it contains, making it impossible for this 8-FX review to determine if there is enough yohimbe to cause weight loss.

Japanese Knotweed Extract

8-FX Cost

The cost of 8-FX is $47.89 for 80 capsules. If you take the recommended 4 capsules per day, one bottle will last 20 days. This is expensive for a diet pill. Although 8-FX does contain several clinically proven ingredients, they are included in proprietary blends (which usually means there is very little of each ingredient included).

8-FX Guarantee

Medical Research Institute (MRI) is the manufacturer of 8-FX diet pills. The MRI website has details of 8-FX, but it says nothing about a product guarantee. They have a customer service phone number listed on the website, but when we called to ask about a guarantee, the only options given by the automated system were to enter an extension or hang up. Thus, we cannot say whether 8-FX has a guarantee or not. It does seem strange that contacting the company is so difficult.

8-FX Conclusion

This 8-FX review finds that while 8-FX does contain several clinically proven diet pills, it fails to mention how much of each ingredient is included. This is necessary to be able to compare products against each other and against the clinical trials. We recommend finding a diet pill that lists the amounts of all their ingredients and includes the proper amounts of proven ingredients.

Ventilean is a diet pill that claims, “If you’re ready to feel the wrath of the fierce fat burning effects of VentiLean, you’ll be letting everybody else know that you too have the violent intensity needed to go from an average physique to one that is suran wrapped to the bone and demands respect” (website). This Ventilean review will explore the truth behind Ventilean to help you determine if this is the product for you.

Ventilean Ingredients

Vitamin B1 (0.75 mg) is important to health but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B2 (0.85 mg) is important to health but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B3 (10 mg) is important to health but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B6 (1 mg) is important to health but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B12 (12 mcg) is important to health but does not contribute to weight loss.

Pantothenic Acid (5 mg) has healthy benefits, but it has not been shown to contribute to weight loss.

Proprietary Blend 229 mg

Caffeine has been proven to contribute to weight loss, but Ventilean fails to list how much caffeine it includes.

Citrus Aurantium 30% Synephrine does contribute to weight loss. When it comes to Synephrine, the higher the concentration the better. Ideally, you would want to see a 90% concentration or even more. Ventilean contains a 30% concentration.

Evodiamine Pure has been proven to cause weight loss in mice, but human studies have not been done.

Stevia

Yohimbe does cause weight loss, but again Ventilean does not disclose how much Yohimbe it contains. This makes it impossible for this Ventilean review to determine if there is enough Yohimbe in Ventilean to be effective.

Kelp

Vinpocetine helps with age-related memory problems, but it does not contribute to weight loss.

Guarana has been shown to contribute to weight loss, but ONLY when combined with Damiana and Yerba Mate. Ventilean does NOT contain Damiana or Yerba Mate. Thus, this Ventilean review finds the guarana in Ventilean will not be effective in causing weight loss.

Ventilean claims, “Not only are our ingredients unique, and proven effective but you can see that we put quality inside and outside” (website). Don’t be fooled by this claim. The ingredients in Ventilean can be found in dozens of diet products. While Ventilean does contain a few clinically proven ingredients, the amounts of these ingredients are hidden.

C-Amp

Ventilean Cost

Ventilean diet pills cost $59.95 for a 24 day supply. This is EXTREMELY expensive for a diet pill. While Ventilean contains a few proven ingredients, they hide how much of these ingredients are included (which usually means they put in as little as possible).

Ventilean Guarantee

The Ventilean website is contradictory about their guarantee. In one place it says they give you 30 days to return the product for a full refund. In another place they say the timeframe is 60 days. Both places say unopened bottles can be returned for a full refund (minus shipping and handling).

Ventilean Conclusion

This Ventilean review finds that Ventilean diet pills are really no different from dozens of others. Ventilean contains a few proven ingredients but fails to disclose how much of each ingredient is included. We recommend looking elsewhere for a diet pill. Our recommended products contain proven ingredients in sufficient amounts.

MaxxTrim is a diet pill that “has been a proven ’secret weapon’ used to melt fat for millions of consumers, athletes, and movie stars worldwide with an amazing track record unmatched by any other supplement in existence” (website). This MaxxTrim review will dissect the bold claims made by MaxxTrim to reveal what you can really expect from MaxxTrim diet pills.

MaxxTrim Ingredients

Proprietary Blend 200 mg

Thermo-Rx/Acacia Rigidula is contained in many diet pills, but it has not been proven to contribute to weight loss.

Theobrome Cocoa Extract is a mood enhancer. There is no evidence that it contributes to weight loss.

Yohimbe Bark causes fatty acid mobilization, leading to weight loss. Unfortunately, MaxxTrim diet pills do not list how much yohimbe they contain.

Caffeine (200 mg) has been shown to contribute to weight loss.

Bitter Orange Extract (40 mg) contains Synephrine, which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. More important than the amount of synephrine is the concentration contained–the higher the concentration the better. Unfortunately, MaxxTrim does not reveal the concentration of synephrine contained.

Green Tea (50 mg) is another clinically proven diet pill ingredient. However, studies have found green tea is only effective when included in amounts of at least 300 mg per day. This MaxxTrim review finds there is not enough green tea in MaxxTrim diet pills to be effective.

Ginger Root Powder (40 mg) calms the stomach; it does not cause weight loss.

Cayenne Powder 20 mg

Bladderwrak Powder 40 mg

Mustard Seed Powder 20 mg

White Willow Bark Powder (60 mg) is an anti-inflammatory; it does not contribute to weight loss.

MaxxTrim Cost

MaxxTrim costs $54.95 for 30 day supply. When you purchase MaxxTrim diet pills from the MaxxTrim website, you are enrolled in autoship (they automatically ship you more pills each month and charge your credit card).

MaxxTrim Guarantee

MaxxTrim gives refunds only on unopened bottles and only within 30 days of purchase. So, if you only order one bottle and it doesn’t work for you, you can’t get your money back. We do not like the unopened bottles only policy, nor do we like that MaxxTrim only gives you 30 days to return the product.

MaxxTrim Marketing

The MaxxTrim website makes some bold claims about MaxxTrim being better than any other product. When you look at the ingredients, you realize the only ingredient contained in a sufficient amount is caffeine. Thus, MaxxTrim is really no different from numerous other diet pills out there. Don’t be fooled by MaxxTrim’s outrageous claims; you will only be disappointed.

MaxxTrim Conclusion

This MaxxTrim review finds there is no difference between MaxxTrim and dozens of other diet pills out there. It contains several proven ingredients, but not in sufficient amounts to cause weight loss. Look for a diet pill which contains enough of each proven ingredient.

Phentremine Civ-xR is a diet pill which “will soon become the definition of the ‘All Natural Way to Lose Weight’” (website). This Phentremine Civ-xR review will explore the ingredients contained in Phentremine Civ-xR and reveal how Phentremine Civ-xR diet pills compare to other diet pills.

Phentremine Civ-xR Ingredients

Hoodia is not the miracle diet pill ingredient that so many claim it is. There is NO scientific evidence to prove that hoodia actually contributes to weight loss.
Citrus Aurantium contains Synephrine, an ingredient which has been clinically proven to contribute to weight loss. Unfortunately, Phentremine Civ-xR fails to list how much Citrus Aurantium is included in their proprietary blend. Thus, it is impossible for this Phentremine Civ-xR review to determine the effectiveness of Citrus Aurantium in Phentremine Civ-xR diet pills.
Evodiamine proved to induce weight loss in mice, but more research is needed to determine its effectiveness in humans.
Caffeine has been proven to increase metabolic rate, which causes weight loss. Again, Phentremine Civ-xR fails to disclose how much caffeine their product contains.
Yohimbe has been shown to cause weight loss by mobilizing fatty acid.
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is necessary for creating energy. The human body creates plenty of Alpha Lipoic Acid on its own; you do not need more ALA than you already have.
Chromium is an ingredient that is somewhat controversial; some studies have shown it contributes to weight loss, while other studies have found it does not.
Senna

If you have read our Phentremine-X review you will notice these two products contain EXACTLY the same ingredients. We find this quite interesting…

Phentremine Civ-xR Guarantee

Phentremine Civ-xR has a 15 day return policy. They charge up to 30% as a return fee. In order to return the product, you have to first call the billing department for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). There is no explanation of what will or will not be accepted as a return.

Phentremine Civ-xR “Free Trial”

Phentremine Civ-xR claims they have a free trial. The fine print of this “free” trial is interesting to say the least. If you do not want to keep and pay for the product, you have 15 days to return it. Otherwise you will automatically be charged $85.78 per month, with Phentremine Civ-xR autoshipped to you every month (they ship the product to you monthly whether you order it or not and then charge your credit card for it). This “free trial” is flat out misleading and unethical.

Phentremine Civ-xR “Marketing”

Have you heard of Phentremine Civ-xR before? If so, maybe it is because one of their emails has ended up in your SPAM email. Although SPAM is illegal in the U.S., Phentremine Civ-xR uses SPAM email as its biggest form of marketing. If the product isn’t good enough to sell itself through regular marketing means, it is not worth looking it.

Phentremine Civ-xR Conclusion

This Phentremine Civ-xR review finds this product is misleading and unimpressive. Like so many other diet pills, Phentremine Civ-xR diet pills hide how much of each ingredient is included in their proprietary blend. The use of SPAM email for marketing is pathetic as is the “free trial” offered by Phentremine Civ-xR. Please do not bother with this product; it will not do anything for you. Instead, look for a legitimate diet pill with proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Phentremine-X is “simply the best appetite suppressant that is available on the market today (website)”. This Phentremine-X review will scrutinize the two formulas of Phentremine-X to determine the validity in the claims about Phentremine-X as well as help you learn what you can expect from Phentremine-X diet pills.

Phentremine-X Ingredients

Phentremine-X has two different formulas, a Capsule Formula and a Tablet Formula. The ingredients are as follows:

Capsule Formula
Vitamin B-12 25 mcg
Chromium 25 mcg
Proprietary Blend 750 mg
(South African Hoodia Gordonii, Citrus Aurantium Extract, Senna 3:1 Extract, Caffeine, Evodie Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid, White Willow Extract, Yohimbe Extract)

Vitamin B-12 has great health benefits. However, it has not been shown to contribute to weight loss.
Chromium has been shown to contribute to weight loss in some clinical studies. However, other studies have shown an opposite result.
Hoodia Gordonii is an overhyped, useless ingredient. There is NO scientific evidence that hoodia contributes to weight loss.
Citrus Aurantium contains Synephrine, which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. Unfortunately, Phentremine-X fails to disclose how much Citrus Aurantium it contains, making it impossible for this Phentremine-X review to determine if there is enough Citrus Aurantium in Phentremine-X to be effective.
Caffeine increases metabolic rate, leading to weight loss. Again, Phentremine-X does not list how much caffeine it contains, so it is impossible to know if it will actually contribute to weight loss.
Evodiamine has been shown to encourage weight loss in mice. More human research needs to be done before we can endorse this ingredient.
Yohimbe contributes to fatty acid mobilization, causing weight loss. Phentremine-X does not list how much Yohimbe it contains.
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) is important in creating energy. However, the human body makes enough ALA; you do not need to supplement with more.
White willow is a pain reliever/anti-inflammatory. More research is needed to determine the effect of white willow on weight loss.

Tablet Formula
Proprietary Blend 477 mg
L-Phenylalanine, Synephrine, Theobromine, Caffeine, Copper Sulfate

L-Phenylalanine is a proven appetite suppressant. Phentremine-X does not disclose how much L-Phenylalanine is included in their proprietary blend.

Synephrine is also a clinically proven ingredient. However, since Phentremine-X does not list how much Synephrine it contains, there is no way to know if there is enough to cause weight loss.

As noted above, caffeine does contribute to weight loss, but Phentremine-X does not list how much caffeine it contains.

Phentremine-X Cost

One bottle of Phentremine-X capsules costs $48.95 for a one-month supply (with a discount for bulk purchases). One bottle of tablets costs $58.95 for a one-month supply (again, with a discount for bulk purchases). There is no reason to believe either Phentermine-X capsules or tablets will cause weight loss. They do not disclose how much of each ingredient is included (probably because they don’t want you to know how little is really in there). Thus, any price is too much to pay for Phentremine-X diet pills.

Phentremine-X Guarantee

The Phentremine-X website explains that they only accept returns of unopened bottles (so you can only get a refund if you buy more than one bottle). There is a $12 “processing” fee for all returns. If you receive bottles that are damaged and want to return them, there is a $12 return fee and a $26 damage fee (even thought the damage was not your fault).

Phentremine-X Marketing

The Phentremine-X website claims that Phentermine-X diet pills are, “rated number 1 diet pill for successful weight loss.” They do not explain who gave this rating. Also, they try to compare their product to Phentermine, an FDA-approved, clinically proven prescription weight loss medication. Don’t be fooled; Phentremine-X is NOT Phentermine. You will not get the same results.

Phentremine-X Conclusion

This Phentremine-X review finds Phentremine-X diet pills are nothing unusual. In fact, they are very much like dozens of other diet pills. They include some effective ingredients, but they fail to reveal how much of these ingredients they include. Don’t waste your money on this product. Look for one that is honest about their ingredients, one that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Lipodrene is a diet pill, “is for people who are looking for one product to serve as a fat burner, energy booster, appetite regulator, and natural diuretic” (website). This Lipodrene review will explore the ingredients in Lipodrene and reveal the truth behind Lipodrene’s claims.

Lipodrene Ingredients

Lipodrene contains the following ingredients in a proprietary blend (they do not disclose how much of
each ingredient is included):

Sida Cordifolia Extract (leaves) (supplying 25mg)
Citrus Aurantium 10% (fruit)
U.S.P. Caffeine 100mg
5-Hydroxytrptophan
5-Methoxytryptamine
Green Tea Extract (leaves)
Cassia Nomame (whole plant)
Hoodia 12:1 Extract (Cactus)
Yohimbe 8% Extact (bark)
Naringen (fruit).

Sida Cordifolia has been used for centuries to treat various health issues including asthma, flu,
and cough. However, the stem of the Sida Cordifolia plant contains high levels of Ephedrine, which has been banned in the U.S. Although the Lipodrene website does not list Ephedrine as an ingredient, it is very possible that Ephedrine is included as part of the Sida Cordifolia Extract. There is no clinical
evidence to show the effectiveness of Sida Cordifolia in weight loss.

Citrus Aurantium contains synephrine, which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. However,
Lipodrene fails to disclose the amount of citrus aurantium contained in their formula, so there is no way for this Lipodrene review to determine the effectiveness of citrus aurantium in Lipodrene diet pills.

Caffeine is a great ingredient in contributing to weight loss. However, you should be aware of your
personal reactions to caffeine before taking Lipodrene or any product containing caffeine. Unfortunately, once again Lipodrene fails to tell you how much caffeine it contains so you won’t know whether it will be effective or not.

5-Hydroxytrptophan (also known as 5-HTP)is an amino acid included in diet pills for its mood enhancing effects. While studies have shown 5-HTP does enhance mood, studies have not shown what the side effects of 5-HTP are.

Green tea has been proven to contribute to weight loss by increasing metabolic rate. However, Lipodrene fails to list how much green tea is contained in their “proprietary blend”.

Cassia Nomame is supposed to be a lipase inhibitor. Unfortunately, the only studies showing weight loss due to Cassia Nomame tested rats; studies have not been done on humans.

Hoodia is simply an overhyped waste of money. There is NO clinical evidence to prove that Hoodia actually contributes to weight loss. Don’t be fooled by outrageous claims–Hoodia is not worth your money.

Yohimbe, in addition to contributing to fatty acid mobilization, is also used to treat erectile dysfunction.

The Lipodrene diet pills sold on the Lipodrene website do not list ephedrine as an ingredient. However,
many websites are selling the older version of Lipodrene diet pills, which do list ephedrine as an ingredient.

Lipodrene Marketing

Lipodrene makes several interesting claims which they fail to back up. The Lipodrene website talks
about clinical studies done on Lipodrene. However, they do not mention who performed these studies,
when they were performed, or where/if the results are published anywhere.

Lipodrene offers a “Risk free trial”. They claim, “We are the Only Company Online that Offers this (RISK FREE TRIAL)” (website). The truth is there are several diet pill companies that offer almost exactly the same trial offer.

The Lipodrene trial offer says, “Simply try our product for at least 30 days. If you are not completely
satisfied – for any reason – return the product to us within 90 days for a complete refund less
shipping/handling fees” (website).

We do like that Lipodrene gives 90 days for customers to return products. We also like that Lipodrene
allows customers to return open bottles.

Lipodrene Cost

Lipodrene diet pills cost $39.95 for 100 tablets. If you take the recommended 2 tablets per day,
one bottle will last 50 days. This is quite inexpensive for a diet pill. However, since Lipodrene
does not disclose how much of each ingredient is included in their formula, it is impossible to determine how effective Lipodrene will be. Thus, any amount is too expensive for Lipodrene.

Lipodrene Conclusion

This Lipodrene review finds that Lipodrene diet pills are not worth the money. While they do contain
several proven diet pill ingredients, Lipodrene fails to disclose how much of each ingredient they
include in their blend. We recommend you look for a diet pill that includes proven ingredients in
proven amounts.

· “Boosts your metabolic rate so you burn more calories
· Increases your energy
· No jitters – just a warming feeling as your metabolism is on fire
· And it helps to control/reduce your appetite!”

This ThermoLean review will help you separate fact from fiction and determine if ThermoLean diet pills are right for you.

What are the ingredients in ThermoLean diet pills?

Supplement Facts:
Serving Size: 2 Capsules
Servings Per Container: 60
Amount Per Serving:
Synephrine HCL 25mg
Synthetic 99% Guggulsterones 25mg
Yohimbe 5mg
Caffeine 250mg
Bioperine 5mg
Proprietary Formula 210mg

Is Synephrine effective? One study performed in December of 2007 looked at the lipolysis (fat loss) effects of Satsuma mandarin orange (Citrus unshu Mark) peel on the fat cells of rats (I know, it’s always rats). A high concentration of Synephrine was present in the peel and lipolysis effects were present.

The overall conclusion:
These results suggest that the segment wall, an edible fraction, from Satsuma mandarin orange might be useful as a functional food, especially as a fat-reducing material ((J Nutr Sci Vitaminol (Tokyo). 2008 Dec;53(6):547-51.)).
In a 2005 statement issued by Robert E. Brackett, a director at the Food and Drug Administration before the House of Representatives he mentioned that they had found a 4% concentration of Synephrine in citrus aurantium while other times finding a concentration of chemical Synephrine of up to 90%. I suppose if you were just going for weight loss, you’d hope yours had the 90% concentration. This ThermoLean review finds that ThermoLean does not reveal the concentration of the Synephrine it contains. That’s not to say they don’t have 90% concentration, we’re only highlighting the fact that we don’t know what the concentration is.

Gugglesterones are supposed to increase thyroid function to promote weight loss. However, studies have had varying results.

Yohimbine comes from the bark of an African evergreen tree. It has been shown to increase fatty acid mobilization. It is also used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Caffeine has been shown to increase metabolic function. Be sure you know how your body reacts to caffeine before taking any product containing caffeine.

Bioperine is an extract from the fruit Piper nigrum L (black pepper) or Piper longum L (long pepper). Both of these contain the active ingredient that you’re looking for: Piperine. They call it a “thermonutrient” because it “enhances the body’s natural thermogenic activity.” I don’t know if the ability to absorb more nutrients will directly translate into lost weight, but the added health benefits of Bioperine should not be overlooked.

ThermoLean does not disclose what the ingredients are in their “Proprietary Formula.” This is unusual; a lot of times companies have a proprietary formula, but they usually tell what the ingredients are even if they don’t give exact amounts for each ingredient. I would be concerned about a product that won’t even tell you what is in it.

How should ThermoLean be taken?

The ThermoLean website says that for fat loss you should take 2 capsules 30 minutes before breakfast and 2 more capsules in the afternoon. For “extreme fat loss” take 2 capsules 3 times daily 30 minutes before a meal. They also warn not to take ThermoLean diet pills within 6 hours of sleep.

The website also states the following: “NOTICE: BECAUSE THERMOLEAN IS SO STRONG, WE RECOMMEND 60 DAYS ON FOLLOWED BY 2 WEEKS OFF FOR BEST RESULTS.”

How much does ThermoLean cost?

One bottle of 120 capsules of ThermoLean diet pills costs $37.99. If you take the maximum recommended dose of 6 capsules per day, one bottle will last 20 days. This equals about $57 per month. This is very expensive considering they don’t tell you everything that is in ThermoLean.

ThermoLean conclusion

This ThermoLean review finds that this is a mediocre product. It does contain synephrine and caffeine, both of which have been shown to contribute to weight loss. However, they do not give the concentration of synephrine used, so we cannot be sure it will be effective. Also, they do not list the ingredients contained in the “Proprietary Formula”. I prefer not to take anything that refuses to tell me what it contains. Choose a product that is forthcoming about its ingredients, one that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Hot-Rox Extreme is a fat burning diet pill. According to their website, “We’ve one-upped previous versions of HOT-ROX — and once again, blown away the competition “. This Hot-Rox Extreme review will explore the validity of these claims and show what, if anything makes this product different from the competition.

Hot-Rox Extreme Ingredients

Supplement Facts
Serving Size: 1 Capsule Servings Per Container: 110

Amount Per Serving %DV*

HOT-ROX Extreme™ Formula 500 mg *
A7-E™ Super-Thermogenic Gel™ XXX500 [lauroyl macrogol-32 glycerides, p-methylcarbonylethylphenol, 3,17-dihydroxy-delta-5-etiocholane-7-one diethylcarbonate, Carbolin™ 19 (forskolin 1,9-carbonate), piperine, yohimbine HCl], caffeine

*Daily Value not established

Other Ingredients: lauroyl macrogol-32 glycerides, gelatin, FD&C red #40, FD&C yellow #6, titanium dioxide.

A7-E is an ingredient found only in Hot-Rox Extreme diet pills. The Hot-Rox website says the following about A7-E

“A7-E is the longest acting and most effective fat-burning compound known to science. We’ve tested and tested and tested it. We know A7-E works and we know it keeps on working, day and night, 24/7. Simply put, A7-E is the master key that unlocks your thermogenic blast-furnace:

A7-E increases (thermogenic) malic enzyme, which produces oxaloacetate – the rate-limiting fuel of fat metabolism.

A7-E stimulates mitochondrial uncoupling, an extremely thermogenic process that’s fueled by fat metabolism.

A7-E increases thyroid-hormone levels (T3), the body’s thermogenic backbone.”

Too bad they give no information on the findings of their “tests”. This Hot-Rox Extreme review has no way to rate A7-E because Hot-Rox Extreme does not provide enough information about this ingredient, nor do they disclose exactly how much A7-E is contained in the formula. This smells like a sham.

One study on coleus forshkohli (Forskolin) found:

“Oral ingestion of forskolin (250 mg of 10% forskolin extract twice a day) for a 12-week period was shown to favorably alter body composition while concurrently increasing bone mass and serum free testosterone levels in overweight and obese men. The results indicate that forskolin is a possible therapeutic agent for the management and treatment of obesity.”

Since the amount of Forksolin in Hot-Rox Extreme is not disclosed it’s difficult to know if you’re getting the 25mg of forskolin that the study suggests.

Piperine is called a “thermonutrient” because it “enhances the body’s natural thermogenic activity.” I don’t know if the ability to absorb more nutrients will directly translate into lost weight, but the added health benefits of Piperine should not be overlooked.

Yohimbine comes from the bark of an African evergreen tree. It has been shown to increase fatty acid mobilization. It is also used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Caffeine is a clinically proven ingredient which increases metabolism. However, Hot-Rox Extreme does not tell you how much caffeine they have included. Thus, it is impossible to know if there is enough caffeine included to be effective.

Hot-Rox Extreme Side Effects

The side effects of Hot-Rox Extreme diet pills include rash, hot flashes, and headaches.

Hot-Rox Extreme Cost

One bottle of 110 capsules of Hot-Rox Extreme diet pills will cost you $69.99 ($39.99 online). At the maximum recommended dose of 4 capsules per day, one bottle will last about 27 days.

Hot-Rox Extreme Conclusion

This Hot-Rox Extreme review sees Hot-Rox Extreme diet pills as being very similar to many other diet pills. They include some proven ingredients, but they hide how much of each ingredient they have included. They do not give enough information on their main ingredient, A7-E. We recommend looking for a diet pill with proven amounts of proven ingredients.
