nanoSLIM claims to be the “world’s smallest weight loss solution.” It offers the convenience of a single daily dose in one nano-engineered “micro-tablet.” nanoSLIM makes bold claims but fails to back them up.

They reference a “clinical study”, but they fail to say who conducted it or when it was performed. It makes us wonder if there was a clinical study at all. If they conducted their own study, it is suspect especially considering it has not been published.

And, considering nanoSLIM pays anyone (including doctors) who will endorse their product, a clinical study done by nanoSLIM carries little weight.

What are the ingredients in nanoSLIM?

According to the nanoSLIM website, “Each serving (1 Microtablet™) contains:

The nanoSLIM™ World’s Smallest Weight-Loss Solution Blend 28 mg

Lagerstroemia speciosa leaf extract [standardized for 3% and 20% corosolic acid] supplying elligitannins,

Cha’ de bugre leaf extract [as Cordia salicifolia],

green coffee bean extract [as Coffea arabica] [standardized for 25% chlorogenic acid], and

Fucus vesiculosus/serratus thallus powder).

Lagerstroemia speciosa (also known as “Banaba”): standardized for corosolic acid. Banaba has been shown to lower blood glucose levels, providing benefit to overweight obese individuals.

Cha’ de Bugre extract is fairly common in fat burners. However, there is no evidence to prove that Cha’ de Bugre provides any benefits for weight loss (read: it likely doesn’t).

A clinical study found that green coffee extract was successful in inhibiting weight gain. However, this study was done on mice. Until studies are done on humans, it is impossible to know exactly how effective green coffee extract is in weight loss.

Fucus Vesiculosus, also known as brown algae, is added because of its iodine, which improves thyroid performance, helping to increase energy. No studies have been done on how fucus vesiculosus contributes to human weight loss.

What proof is there that nanoSLIM works?

There is no proof that nanoSLIM works. The nanoSLIM website boasts of a study which found great success with participants using nanoSLIM. However, as stated earlier, there is no mention of who did the study or when it was done. No such study has been published.

nanoSLIM pays people to give endorsements of their product. They say it right on their website. They are currently looking for people to give “success stories”. They offer financial compensation as well as free product to anyone who will write a positive review. They also pay Lisa Pomranky, MD, whose endorsement is
on the website. How can we take seriously any claims made by nanoSLIM when they have to pay people to say positive things about their product?

How much does nanoSLIM cost?

nanoSLIM costs $39.90 for 40 microtablets, or roughly $1 per day. While that doesn’t seem expensive, you could simply throw $1 out the window on your way to work–that’d have a similar effect.

What are the side effects of nanoSLIM?

Side effects of nanoSLIM include increased heart rate, hot flashes, sweating, and bloating.

nanoSLIM Review Conclusion

nanoSLIM is a weight loss supplement that is no different from many other supplements. They make bold claims but have nothing to back them up. They fail to disclose how much of each ingredient is contained in the supplement, and even the ingredients that might be beneficial to weight loss have only been tested
on mice. Perhaps nanoSLIM would be worth taking if you get some good money for an endorsement, but if you are looking for something that will actually help you lose weight, look elsewhere.
