Green Tea HP is a fairly new weight loss/wellness product to hit the market. It appears to have originally been sold through shopping mall kiosks, but have since moved to a network marketing sales model (more on that later).

Green tea has long been seen as an effective weight loss ingredient, so how does the product Green Tea HP stand up against the competition? Read on to find out.

Ingredients

Green Tea – Green tea is a solid weight loss ingredient that is backed by loads of research and clinical studies. Green tea contains caffeine, so those that are particularly sensitive to caffeine should take note.

Acai – Acai has become quite popular as of late, mostly due to the marketing hype of diet pill companies and not due to the actual weight loss potential of the ingredient. It is a great antioxidant and a healthy supplement to take, but it will do little to actually cause you to lose weight.

Noni Juice – Noni is a tropical fruit (technical name is morinda citrifolia) that some believe has various health benefits.

Pomegranate Juice – Also contains antioxidants that help overall health, but will cause no weight loss.

Resveratrol – A phytoalexin found in the skin of red grapes, resveratrol has many health benefits. Its effectiveness in weight loss has yet to be determined.

L-Theanine – An amino acid, l-theanine has been shown to help reduce stress. Often diet pills will include l-theanine to counteract effects of stimulants such as caffeine. Will it cause weight loss? No.

Bioperine – A thermonutrient, bioperine helps to absorb nutrients. While it won’t cause weight loss, it may help in the absorption of ingredients that will.

Looking at the ingredient profile, the only real ingredient that will cause weight loss is green tea. The other ingredients are basically support ingredients. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing since green tea is such a highly effective weight loss ingredient.

Green Tea HP’s Marketing

What I do like about the Green Tea HP website is that they actually have a fair amount of information concerning the studies that back up their claims about the health benefits. In most cases they provide a listing of citations allowing you to verify the results of the study for yourself.

What I don’t like about the marketing (and mostly the marketing of other websites pushing Green Tea HP) is that they claim to have about every health benefit under the sun. Just be wise of the fact that while the product is likely to have numerous health benefits, it’s certainly not the miracle product that will solve all your health problems, (preventing cancer, kidney disease, osteoporosis, etc.) like it’s made out to be.

Gree Tea HP’s New Sales Tactic: Network Marketing

From what I can tell, Green Tea HP was originally sold in kiosks in shopping malls. They are now (and the switch seems to be rather recently) moving to a network marketing sales method (same method used by Tahitian Noni, Avon, etc.). This means that you can become a distributor for Green Tea HP and sell the product.

I’m personally not a big fan of network marketing because there is often more of a focus on selling other people on the ‘business opportunity’ than there is on the actual product. In most cases it’s just a way for the company to grow fast and grow rich. I can’t say if the same goes for Green Tea HP, but don’t be too surprised if your long lost friend calls you after 5 years of no contact trying to sell you a new and amazing wellness formula called Green Tea HP.

To each their own I guess.

Green Tea HP’s Price

Green Tea HP comes in many different varieties and sizes. I appears that a standard order would the “variety sixty” which comes with 60 “pixies” (doses). Per the instructions you take two doses per day so this sixty pack will last one month.

A sixty pack of Green Tea HP costs $79.95. This is definitely on the more expensive side of the weight loss product spectrum.

Green Tea HP’s Guarantee

It doesn’t appear that the company offers any kind of money back guarantee.

Conclusion

Green Tea HP’s ingredients look to be ok. Green tea is a good weight loss ingredient that is likely to help you with drop some weight. Green Tea is also positioning itself as more of a wellness product, and not just a weight loss drink.

The price is a little high and the lack of guarantee makes me a little cautious. Also, take note that you may see quite a bit of biased testimonials based on the fact that virtually anyone can become a distributor for the company and has something to gain.

Corti-Cut is a diet pill that claims to:

“Regulate cortisol levels.

Decrease appetite and cravings.

Balance blood sugar levels” (website)

This Corti-Cut review will show that there is no reason to believe any of the claims made about Corti-Cut. It is just another typical diet pill that simply wants your money.

Corti-Cut Ingredients

Magnolia Extract (100 mg) does not cause weight loss.

Proprietary Herbal Blend (200 mg)

Rhodiola Rosea supposedly makes you feel good; it does not cause weight loss.

Rosavins

Green Tea has been shown to cause weight loss. However, it has to be taken in doses of 300 mg per day or more. Corti-Cut does not say the amount of green tea it contains, but since the proprietary blend is only 200 mg, there is no way Corti-Cut contains enough green tea to be effective.

Camella Sinensis

Polyphenonols

Bitter Orange Peel Extract (Citrus Aurantium) 6% Synephrine has been shown to contribute to weight loss. The important aspect with Synephrine is the concentration–the higher the concentration the more effective it is. With only a 6% concentration, the Synephrine in Corti-Cut will not be effective.

Vitamin C (60 mg) is healthy, but it does not cause weight loss.

Chromium (50 mcg) has shown varying results in clinical studies.

L-Theanine (100 mg) does not cause weight loss.

Phospholipids (100 mg)

Phosphatidylserine (soy phospholipid)

Phosphatidylcholine (soy phospholipid)

Phosphatidylethanolamine (soy phospholipid)

Phosphatidylinositol (soy phospholipid)

Essential fatty Acid Blend (20 mg)
Caprylic Acid

Linoleic Acid has healthy benefits but does not contribute to weight loss.

Oleic Acid

Palmitic Acid

Stearic Acid

Don’t be impressed by this lengthy ingredient list. The only proven ingredients are green tea and synephrine, and they are not included in high enough amounts to contribute to weight loss.

Corti-Cut Cost

Corti-Cut diet pills cost $38.63 for 60 capsules. If you take the recommended 2 capsules per day, one bottle will last a month. This is way too expensive for Corti-Cut. It contains a couple proven ingredients, but they are not included in the necessary amounts. Spend your money on a product that actually contains proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Corti-Cut Guarantee

Corti-Cut is manufactured by Olympian Labs. The Olympian Labs website says nothing about a guarantee for Corti-Cut diet pills. Some retailers do offer their own guarantees. We are skeptical of any company that does not guarantee their product–just one more reason not to buy Corti-Cut.

Corti-Cut Conclusion

This Corti-Cut review finds Corti-Cut is not the product for you. It contains only two proven ingredients, and they are not included in the necessary amounts. There is no manufacturer’s guarantee for Corti-Cut diet pills. To get real weight loss results, try one of our recommended products; they contain proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Suvaril is a typical diet pill that promises weight loss but fails to prove that it actually works. The Suvaril website claims, “Only Suvaril can deliver consistent moderate weight loss.” Obviously this is untrue. We have found several diet pills that cause moderate weight loss, and Suvaril cannot prove that it will really work. This Suvaril review will show that Suvaril diet pills are nothing to write home about.

Suvaril Ingredients

Vitamin A (2500 IU) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin C (40 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin D (200 IU) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin E (15 IU) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Thiamin (0.75 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Riboflavin (0.85 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Niacin (10 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B6 (1 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Folic Acid (200 mcg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B12 (3 mcg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Biotin (150 mcg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Pantothenic Acid (5 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Calcium (50 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Magnesium (25 mg) is healthy but does not contribute to weight loss.

Chromium Picolinate (100 mcg) has shown varying results in clinical trials. Some studies have shown chromium contributes to weight loss while others have shown it does not.

Suvaril Proprietary Blend (472 mg)

Green tea has been proven to contribute to weight loss by increasing metabolic rate. Studies have shown that for green tea to be effective, it has to be taken in doses of at least 300 mg per day. Unfortunately, Suvaril fails to disclose how much green tea it contains, making it impossible for this Suvaril review to determine if there is enough green tea in Suvaril diet pills to be effective.

Grape seed

Vanadium does not contribute to weight loss.

Banaba Leaf lowers blood sugar levels, leading to weight loss. Again, Suvaril does not say how much banaba it contains.

L-Theanine reduces stress levels; it does not directly contribute to weight loss.

Suvaril Free Sample

Suvaril offers a free 30 day sample. The catch is that when you sign up for the free sample you are enrolled in autoship (they automatically send you the product and charge your credit card for it). You will be charged $69.90 for a 60 day supply.

Suvaril Price

If you choose to buy Suvaril diet pills and don’t want to enroll in autoship, you will pay $49.95 for a one month supply. This is way too expensive for this product. Suvaril contains only two proven ingredients (green tea and banaba), and it does not say how much of each ingredient is included.

Suvaril Guarantee

Suvaril offers a 60 day refund on unopened bottles only. This is good for Suvaril because you have to buy more than one bottle in order to get a refund (since you cannot return opened bottles).

Suvaril Conclusion

Suvaril diet pills might cause weight loss, but it might not. Since Suvaril hides how much of each proven ingredient it contains, there is no way of knowing if Suvaril will actually work. And, since you cannot return an unopened bottle, you will be spending nearly $100 to see if it will work. That seems like too much to gamble on this product. Instead, this Suvaril review recommends using a diet pill containing clinically proven ingredients in the necessary amounts.

GUSD incorporates stress control, an easy-to-follow exercise and nutrition program, and a daily dietary supplement” (website).

Get Up Slim Down is supposed to help you:

“•	Lose weight (reduce body fat)

•	Enhance mood (reduce depression)

• Boost energy levels (reduce fatigue)” (website).

This Get Up Slim Down will give you the skinny on the ingredients in Get Up Slim Down as well as explain the guarantee and supposed research done on this product.

Get Up Slim Down Ingredients

GUSD Proprietary Blend 350 mg

Orange Peel Extract contains synephrine, a clinically proven diet pill ingredient. The important thing with synephrine is the concentration–the higher the concentration the more effective it is at causing weight loss. Unfortunately, Get Up Slim Down does not reveal the concentration of synephrine it includes. Thus, this Get Up Slim Down review finds it impossible to determine if the concentration of synephrine in Get Up Slim Down diet pills is enough to contribute to weight loss.

Eurycoma Extract has been shown to increase muscle strength and size, but it has not been directly linked to weight loss. Again, Get Up Slim Down fails to disclose how much eurycoma it contains.

Suntheanin is also known as l-theanine. It is supposed to help reduce stress levels; it does not contribute to weight loss.

Synephrine is a great diet pill ingredient when used in the necessary concentration. Too bad Get Up Slim Down does not say the concentration of Synephrine included (probably because it is an insignificant amount). Look for a diet pill that contains proven ingredients in stated (and proven) amounts.

Get Up Slim Down Guarantee

Get Up Slim Down offers a 60 day money back guarantee and will even give refunds on opened bottles (many diet pill companies don’t). However, given the ingredients in Get Up Slim Down, you will most likely need to use the guarantee. Save yourself the hassle and look for a different product.

Get Up Slim Down Price

Get Up Slim Down costs $49.95 for a one month supply (with a discount if you purchase in bulk). This Get Up Slim Down review finds this is far too expensive for this product. Look through our recommended products for a diet pill that will give you more bang for your buck.

Get Up Slim Down Marketing

The Get Up Slim Down website claims their product has been proven in several clinical trials. However, they fail to mention when and where these trials were conducted or who conducted them. This is quite common among diet pill companies. They often do “in-house” trials (meaning they can tweak the results or not even conduct the studies at all).

Get Up Slim Down uses typical testimonials you would find on any diet pill website. Don’t be impressed by the testimonials; they are often fabricated.

Get Up Slim Down Conclusion

This Get Up Slim Down review finds this is just a typical diet pill; it will not give you the results you are looking for. If you are serious about losing weight, go with a diet pill that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts. Look at our recommended products.

This JetFuel review will dissect the ingredients in JetFuel as well as examine the cost and marketing strategies associated with JetFuel to help you determine if this is the diet pill for you.

JetFuel Ingredients

Vitamin B3 (25 mg) is important to overall health, but it does not contribute to weight loss.

Vitamin B12 (333mcg) has healthy benefits but does not cause weight loss.

JetFuel Proprietary Blend 2164 mg

MCT Oil (Medium Chain Triglycerides)

Guarana has been proven to contribute to weight loss, but ONLY when combined with Damiana and Yerba Mate. JetFuel does not contain Damiana or Yerba Mate. Thus, this JetFuel review finds the Guarana contained in JetFuel diet pills will not be effective at causing weight loss.

Caffeine Anhydrous has been shown to contribute to weight loss. However, JetFuel fails to disclose how much caffeine it contains, making it impossible to determine if there is enough caffeine in JetFuel to make it effective.

Panex Quiquefolium

Green tea contributes to weight loss, but once again JetFuel hides the amount of green tea it contains.

Synephrine has been shown to contribute to weight loss. The most important thing with synephrine is the concentration–the higher the concentration the more effective it is. JetFuel diet pills do not list the concentration of synephrine contained.

Yohimbine contributes to weight loss by mobilizing fatty acid. JetFuel does not disclose how much Yohimbine it contains.

Acetyl L-Carnitine is supposed to break down fats, but there is no evidence to back up this claim.

Evodiamine has been shown to cause weight loss in mice, but no human studies have been done.

Hoodia Gordonii Extract DOES NOT cause weight loss. Don’t be fooled by the false claims and celebrity endorsements; research has shown hoodia does not contribute to weight loss.

Synthetic Guggelsterone is supposed to increase thyroid function, causing weight loss. However, studies have shown varying results.

Octopamine is a popular diet pill ingredient, but it does not cause weight loss.

5 HTP is a mood enhancer, but it has not been shown to directly contribute to weight loss.

cAMP

Rhodiola Rosea is supposed to make you feel good; it does not contribute to weight loss.

Cortisol Blocker Blend 75 mg

Phosphatidylserine

Phosphatidylcholine

Phosphatidylethanolamine

Magnolia Bark

L-Theanine is supposed to reduce stress, but it has not been shown to contribute to weight loss.

Piperine Extract (Bioperine) 5 mg aids in the absorption of nutrients, but it has not been shown to directly contribute to weight loss.

JetFuel Cost

JetFuel diet pills cost $37.95 for 120 capsules. If you take the recommended 6 capsules per day, one bottle will last 20 days. This is quite expensive for a diet pill. While JetFuel does contain several proven ingredients, it fails to list how much of each ingredient is included.

JetFuel does offer a “free sample.” However, it includes only 3 capsules (half a day’s worth). How can you tell anything with such a small amount?

JetFuel Guarantee

The JetFuel website says nothing about a guarantee so I called their customer service line. The representative I talked to was not knowledgeable. He could not tell me exactly what their guarantee is. According to the representative, they will refund your money if you buy JetFuel from their website. He did not tell me if there is a time limit on the guarantee.

JetFuel Marketing

JetFuel has a new spokesman, Jose Canseco. I had to laugh when I saw his face on their website. What reputable company would use Jose Canseco as a spokesman after all the trouble he has been in?

The JetFuel website has dozens of pictures of people with bulging muscles who have supposedly used JetFuel diet pills. Under the pictures is the caption “results are not typical”. Why don’t they have pictures of typical results so you know what to expect?

JetFuel Conclusion

This JetFuel review finds JetFuel diet pills are nothing special. They do contain several proven ingredients, but they hide how much of each ingredient is included. We recommend you look for a diet pill that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Acai Berry Select provides “Healthier weight loss naturally.” The diet pill is based of the popular ingredient, Acai. Acai contains a large load of powerful antioxidants and is believed to be one of the healthiest supplements available. Most diet pills based on acai include very few other ingredients and as a result get a low rating from us. Acai Berry Select on the other hand has supplemented their acai with other high quality ingredients as well.

This Acai Berry Select review will look into their ingredient profile to see if it may be the right solution for you.

Acai Berry Select Ingredient Profile

Chromium (75 mcg) has been shown to help regulate blood sugar levels. The jury is still out as to chromium’s effectiveness in weight loss. We await more research before we can take a clear stand.

Green tea ( 225 mg) is an one of the few ingredients that has been proven to increase your metabilic rate. It effectively burns fat and is also a good antioxidant.

Caffeine (200 mg) has been shown to increase the metabolic function. It is a proven weight loss ingredients backed by a ton of research.

Acai berry (50 mg is a great source of antioxidants. As of late, acai has become increasingly popular due its amazing health benefits.

L-theanine (8 mg)has been shown to help reduce stress levels which is designed to counteract the stimulant effect.

It turns out that the ingredient profile is actually quite strong. The acai will provide great overall health benefits and the other ingredients have been proven to aid in weight loss. We like their ingredient profile and their natural take on weight loss.

No Proprietary Blend?

Acai Berry Select has also fully disclosed the amounts of their ingredients which is certainly worthy of praise in an industry that for the most part now enjoys hiding how much product they are actually giving you with proprietary blends.

Acai Berry Select Marketing

Unfortunately, Acai Berry Select is unclear about their autoship program. Make sure you check out the terms and conditions to see the details of what their “free trial” actually has to offer. It appears that you’ll be automatically enrolled in their program and start receiving shipments of product automatically with them debiting your credit card on a regular basis. If they were open about their program, it would be one thing, but they provide no obvious information on their site (its mostly hidden) about it.

Acai Berry’s Price

$39.95 per bottle. That’s a pretty good price. They also have a 90 day money back guarantee in which you can return both opened and unopened bottles.

Acai Berry Select Conclusion

Acai Berry Select provides a good ingredient profile to accompany the acai berry, unlike other acai based diet pills. They autoship makes us nervous. We’ve seen a lot of companies using this tactic now and we’ve heard nothing but problems from them. Thumbs down for Acai Berry Select.
