Power Thin Phase II is a “natural weight loss supplement scientifically formulated to increase calorie burning, mobilize stored body fat and help you have the energy you need to achieve the rapid weight loss you’re looking for” (website). This Power Thin Phase II review will detail the ingredients contained in Power Thin Phase II to help you see what you can really expect from this product.

Power Thin Phase II Ingredients

Advantra Z contains synephrine, a clinically proven diet pill ingredient. The concentration of synephrine determines how effective it will be–the higher the concentration the more effective it is. Unfortunately, Power Thin Phase II fails to list the concentration of synephrine it contains.

Caffeine has been shown to contribute to weight loss. Since Power Thin Phase II diet pills do not say how much caffeine they contain, it is impossible for this Power Thin Phase II review to determine if the caffeine included will be effective.

Green tea is another proven weight loss ingredient. Again, Power Thin Phase II hides the amount of green tea it contains, so there is no way of knowing if it will be effective.

Cocoa seed extract is a feel good ingredient. It does not contribute to weight loss.

Maca

Yerba Mate has been shown to contribute to weight loss when combined with Damiana and Guarana. However, Power Thin Phase II does not contain Damiana or Guarana.

Quercetin

Vinpocetine is used to treat memory problems related to age. It does not cause weight loss.

Yohimbine does contribute to weight loss, but Power Thin Phase II does not list how much Yohimbine it contains.

Acetyl L-Carnitine HCL is supposed to break down fats. More research is needed to substantiate this claim.

Ginger root is used to calm the stomach; it does not cause weight loss.

Gugulipid extract is supposed to increase thyroid function. More research is needed.

L-Tyrosine has been shown to contribute to weight loss when taken in doses of 500 to 1500 mg per day. It is extremely unlikely that Power Thin Phase II diet pills contain enough Tyrosine to be effective.

White willow bark is an anti-inflammatory. It does not contribute to weight loss.

Power Thin Phase II does include several clinically proven ingredients. Unfortunately, the specific amount of each ingredient is not disclosed (usually because they include only trace amounts of these ingredients). If Power Thin Phase II included these ingredients in proven amounts, we would recommend this product, but since they do not, we recommend looking elsewhere.

Power Thin Phase II Guarantee

Power Thin Phase II has an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee. We prefer having 90 days to return a product.

Power Thin Phase II Price

Power Thin Phase II diet pills cost $39.99 for a one month supply. While this is about average for a diet pill, since Power Thin Phase II fails to reveal how much of each ingredient is included, it is too expensive.

Power Thin Phase II Marketing

The Power Thin Phase II website is filled with sensationalized testimonials and photos of models measuring their tiny waistlines. Don’t be impressed by either one–they are probably all fabricated.

Power Thin Phase II Conclusion

This Power Thin Phase II review finds Power Thin Phase II does include several clinically proven diet pill ingredients. Unfortunately, Power Thin Phase II fails to list how much of each ingredient it includes. Thus, we recommend finding a diet pill that is honest about its ingredients–one that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts.

Size 0 is “the only supplement you need to achieve that sexy, youthful figure and regain your energy for life, fast!” (website). This Size 0 review will break down the claims made by Size 0 as well as give an in-depth look at the Size 0 ingredients to show you what you can honestly expect from Size 0 diet pills.

Size 0 Ingredients

Weight Loss Support Blend 785 mg (Thermogenic/Metabolic Accelerator)

Caffeine Anhydrous is merely dried caffeine. It has been proven to contribute to weight loss. However, since Size 0 includes caffeine anhydrous in a proprietary blend, there is no way to know if there is enough to be effective.

Green Tea Extract has also been proven to contribute to weight loss. For green tea to be effective, it has to be taken in doses of at least 300 mg per day. It is very unlikely that there is enough green tea in Size 0 diet pills to contribute to weight loss.

Yerba Mate has been shown to contribute to weight loss, but ONLY when combined with Damiana and Guarana. Size 0 does not contain Damiana or Guarana.

Green Coffee Bean Extract inhibits weight loss in mice, but human studies have not been done.

Cordia Salisifolia Extract (Cha de Bugre) Although cordia salisifolia is included in many diet pills, there is no scientific evidence that it actually contributes to weight loss.

Cocoa Extract is a feel-good ingredient; it does not directly contribute to weight loss.

Taurine is often added to energy drinks, but studies have shown it has no effect on energy levels.

Citrus Naringin

Appetite Support Complex 17 mg (Food Craving Support Nutrients)

Hoodia Gordonii DOES NOT contribute to weight loss, although many diet pill companies claim it does.

Smithin Jojoba Seed Extract

Griffoniosimplicifolia Seed Extract

Beauty Support Blend 11 mg (Hair, Skin and Nails Nutrients)

Horsetail Leaf Extract

Hyaluronic Acid

Collagen, according to many diet pill companies, is supposed to reduce body fat. However, studies have not been able to prove this theory.

Choline is supposed to reduce body fat (according to diet pill companies), but science has not proven it.

Silica

Inositol helps transport fat from the liver. Size 0 does not list how much Inositol it contains.

Biotin is Vitamin B-7; it does not contribute to weight loss.

L-Cyctione

L-Methionine helps break down fats. You should not supplement with Methionine unless your doctor directs you to do so.

Coenzyme Q10

Chamomile Flower Leaf Extract

Estrogen Support Complex 4 mg (Hormonal Balancing Nutrients)

Choste Tree Berry

Daidzen

Dong Quai Root

Vitex Agnus Costus

Don’t be impressed or overwhelmed by the long list of ingredients included in Size 0. It merely means they have put in a VERY small amount of each ingredient. Size 0 does include a few proven ingredients, but odds are there is not enough of any ingredient to contribute to weight loss.

Size 0 Cost

A one month supply of Size 0 diet pills costs $49.95. This is extremely expensive, especially since Size 0 fails to list how much of each ingredient is included, making it impossible to predict how effective Size 0 will be.

Size 0 Guarantee

Size 0 has a 6 month guarantee policy. You can even return open bottles (although if you have used more than half the bottle they will only refund the amount of the unused portion). This seems like a pretty good guarantee.

Size 0 Marketing

The Size 0 website is incomplete. They claim they have made a “scientific breakthrough.” However, under the section titled “Size 0 Science”, there is no information. I would be interested to see what research they cite, since all the research we have seen (which is a considerable amount) says there is no possible way the proven ingredients in Size 0 could have been included in adequate amounts to contribute to weight loss.

It is interesting that Size 0 is enticing people to get back their “sexy, youthful figure” when they use what looks like a teenage model. Do they really expect people to believe they will look like the model if they use Size 0 (because the only way to get your body looking like the model’s is to go back in time)?

Size 0 Conclusion

This Size 0 review finds Size 0 diet pills are nothing out of the ordinary; they include a few proven ingredients, but not in large enough amounts to actually cause weight loss. Don’t waste your time on pills like these. Find a diet pill that includes proven ingredients in appropriate amounts.

MaxxTrim is a diet pill that “has been a proven ’secret weapon’ used to melt fat for millions of consumers, athletes, and movie stars worldwide with an amazing track record unmatched by any other supplement in existence” (website). This MaxxTrim review will dissect the bold claims made by MaxxTrim to reveal what you can really expect from MaxxTrim diet pills.

MaxxTrim Ingredients

Proprietary Blend 200 mg

Thermo-Rx/Acacia Rigidula is contained in many diet pills, but it has not been proven to contribute to weight loss.

Theobrome Cocoa Extract is a mood enhancer. There is no evidence that it contributes to weight loss.

Yohimbe Bark causes fatty acid mobilization, leading to weight loss. Unfortunately, MaxxTrim diet pills do not list how much yohimbe they contain.

Caffeine (200 mg) has been shown to contribute to weight loss.

Bitter Orange Extract (40 mg) contains Synephrine, which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. More important than the amount of synephrine is the concentration contained–the higher the concentration the better. Unfortunately, MaxxTrim does not reveal the concentration of synephrine contained.

Green Tea (50 mg) is another clinically proven diet pill ingredient. However, studies have found green tea is only effective when included in amounts of at least 300 mg per day. This MaxxTrim review finds there is not enough green tea in MaxxTrim diet pills to be effective.

Ginger Root Powder (40 mg) calms the stomach; it does not cause weight loss.

Bladderwrak Powder 40 mg

Mustard Seed Powder 20 mg

White Willow Bark Powder (60 mg) is an anti-inflammatory; it does not contribute to weight loss.

MaxxTrim Cost

MaxxTrim costs $54.95 for 30 day supply. When you purchase MaxxTrim diet pills from the MaxxTrim website, you are enrolled in autoship (they automatically ship you more pills each month and charge your credit card).

MaxxTrim Guarantee

MaxxTrim gives refunds only on unopened bottles and only within 30 days of purchase. So, if you only order one bottle and it doesn’t work for you, you can’t get your money back. We do not like the unopened bottles only policy, nor do we like that MaxxTrim only gives you 30 days to return the product.

MaxxTrim Marketing

The MaxxTrim website makes some bold claims about MaxxTrim being better than any other product. When you look at the ingredients, you realize the only ingredient contained in a sufficient amount is caffeine. Thus, MaxxTrim is really no different from numerous other diet pills out there. Don’t be fooled by MaxxTrim’s outrageous claims; you will only be disappointed.

MaxxTrim Conclusion

This MaxxTrim review finds there is no difference between MaxxTrim and dozens of other diet pills out there. It contains several proven ingredients, but not in sufficient amounts to cause weight loss. Look for a diet pill which contains enough of each proven ingredient.

Cayenne Powder 20 mg

Bladderwrak Powder 40 mg

Mustard Seed Powder 20 mg

Estrin-D is the “first diet pill specifically designed for adult women” (website). I have done at least half a dozen reviews on other diet pills specifically for adult women. The Estrin-D website also claims:

“Estrin-D increases a sluggish metabolism, so you burn additional calories… even at rest.
Estrin-D improves hormonal balance so you lose weight in all the right places.
Estrin-D gives you all the energy you’ll ever need… day or night.”

This Estrin-D review will scrutinize the ingredients contained in Estrin-D diet pills and find the truth behind the claims made about Estrin-D.

Estrin-D Ingredients

Vitamin B-6 25 mg
Magnesium 100 mg
Proprietary Blend 1153 mg
Yerba Mate
Caffeine
Guarana
Damiana
Green tea
Ginger root
Kola nut
DHEA
Schisandra fruit
Scutellaria root
Tibetan Ginseng
Cocoa nut
Jujube fruit
Thea Sinensis Complex SE

Vitamin B-6 and Magnesium both contribute to a healthy diet, but they have not been shown to contribute to weight loss.

The combination of Yerba Mate, Guarana, and Damiana has been shown to contribute to weight loss. Since Estrin-D fails to disclose how much of the combination it contains, there is no way to determine if there is enough to be effective.

Caffeine and green tea both increase metabolic function which leads to weight loss. Again, Estrin-D does not say how much of these ingredients they include, so there is no way to tell if they will be effective.

Ginger root reduces stomach acid; it does not contribute to weight loss.

Kola nut is supposed to suppress appetite; no studies have proven this. In fact, some studies are showing some possible cancer-related concerns with Kola nut.

DHEA has been shown to contribute to weight loss. You guessed it-since DHEA is contained in a proprietary blend, there is no way to know if the amount of DHEA in Estrin-D diet pills will actually cause weight loss.

Studies have actually shown ginseng has no effect on weight loss.

Estrin-D does contain several clinically proven ingredients. However, they fail to list how much of each ingredient is included. Also, there is nothing in Estrin-D which would make this specifically for women in menopause or postmenopause. Don’t be fooled; Estrin-D is nothing special.

Estrin-D Cost

You can buy a one month supply of Estrin-D diet pills for about $30. While this is relatively inexpensive for a diet pill, it is too much because there is no reason to believe Estrin-D will actually cause weight loss. They hide how much of each ingredient they use, which is usually because they don’t include enough of any ingredient to be effective.

Estrin-D Customer Service

The Estrin-D website is very basic. They have a contact link, but it only gives an email address. There is no customer service phone number or even a company mailing address.

There is no guarantee for Estrin-D from the company; some distributors do offer their own guarantee for products.

Estrin-D Conclusion

This Estrin-D review finds there is no reason this product should be geared toward menopausal or postmenopausal women. In fact, there is no reason to believe Estrin-D will cause weight loss at all. They fail to disclose how much of each ingredient is included. Despite how the Estrin-D website makes it sound, no research has been done specifically on Estrin-D diet pills. If you are serious about losing weight, look for a diet pill that contains proven ingredients in proven amounts; our recommended products are a great place to start looking.

This Stimerex Thermo Rx review will discover what proof is behind this claim and if you can expect weight loss by using this product.

What are the ingredients in Stimerex Thermo Rx?

The ingredients contained in Stimerex Thermo Rx diet pills are as follows

Proprietary Blend: 500mg
Citrus Aurantium (fruit)(17.5mg synephrine), acacia 70% extract (leaves), theobroma cocoa extract, phenylethylamine HCL, green tea extract, naringen (fruit), 3-dimethyl aminoethanol bitartrate, yohimbe extract (bark). Caffeine (anhydrous): 150mg

Directions: Take 1 capsules three times daily.

Citrus Aurantium contains synephrine. One study performed in December of 2007 looked at the lipolysis (fat loss) effects of Satsuma mandarin orange (Citrus unshu Mark) peel on the fat cells of rats (I know, it’s always rats). A high concentration of Synephrine was present in the peel and lipoloysis effects were present. The overall conclusion:

These results suggest that the segment wall, an edible fraction, from Satsuma mandarin orange might be useful as a functional food, especially as a fat-reducing material ((J Nutr Sci Vitaminol (Tokyo). 2008 Dec;53(6):547-51.)).

Acacia Rigidula is included in many diet pills. However, there is no scientific evidence showing it contributes to weight loss.

Phenethylamine is an alkaloid that functions as a neurotransmitter in the brain. Some people call Phenetyhlamine “The Love Drug” because it is included in chocolate but the question arises as to the validity of that claim because Phenethylamine is metabolized so quickly, it’s doubtful that any significant amount would reach the brain quickly enough to cause an effect. More human research is needed on phenethylamine.

Green tea is an ingredient which has been proven to contribute to weight loss.

Yohimbine comes from the bark of an African evergreen tree. It has been shown to increase fatty acid mobilization. It is also used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Caffeine has been shown to contribute to increased metabolic function and we readily support it as long as you pay attention to your own body’s reaction to it. There are a minority of people that react too much toward caffeine and are asking for sleepless nights if they ingest too much of it. Note: Caffeine anhydrous is only dehydrated caffeine.

Stimerex Thermo Rx diet pills do contain some clinically proven ingredients. However, like countless other diet pills, Stimerex Thermo Rx fails to disclose the amount of each ingredient included in the “Proprietary Blend.” Thus, it is impossible for this Stimerex Thermo Rx review to determine whether or not this product is effective in causing weight loss.

One BIG red flag is the fact that their Proprietary blend is only 500 mg.

How much do Stimerex Thermo Rx diet pills cost?

One bottle of Stimerex Thermo Rx contains 100 capsules and costs $49.95. If you take the recommended amount of three capsules per day, one bottle will last 33 days. Although this isn’t necessarily expensive for a diet pill, because there is no proof that Stimerex Thermo Rx actually works, it costs $49.95 too much.

Is there a guarantee with Stimerex Thermo Rx?

The Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals website (Stimerex Thermo Rx manufacturer) explains that they give refunds only if the product is unopened and is returned within 30 days. Shipping fees are not refunded. So… basically if you try the product and it makes you vomit, gives you uncontrollable gas, or just plain doesn’t work, you can’t get a refund.

Stimerex Thermo Rx Conclusion

Stimerex Thermo Rx diet pills are really no different than dozens of other diet pills.

TrimSpa Energy is a diet pill which, according to their website, is “formulated to help stave off hunger with ingredients that may help boost energy levels in the body.” This TrimSpa review will determine just how effective TrimSpa Energy diet pills are and what you might expect from this product.

What are the ingredients in TrimSpa Energy?

The following is the ingredient list from the TrimSpa website.

ElectraSPA Proprietary Blend: Green Tea Extract 40% (standarized for egcs, polyphenols and 40% caffeine), glucomannan, cocoa extract (standardized for pea, tyramine and 10% theobromine), hoodia gordonii (whole plant/less roots), sodium carboxymethylcellulose, glucosamine hcl, guarana extract, l-tyrosine, citrus narargin, atp, vanadium) 1098.5 mg **

Other Ingredients: Dicalcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid, Magnesium STearate, Hypromellose, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Polyethylene Glycol, FD&C Red No. 40 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Yellow No. 6 Aluminum Lake, Titanium Dioxide.

Green tea is one of our favorite diet pill ingredients because it has been proven to increase metabolic function, thus causing weight loss. However, TrimSpa Energy does not disclose how much green tea is contained in its formula. This makes it impossible for this TrimSpa Energy review to determine if the amount of green tea in TrimSpa Energy is enough to cause weight loss.

Glucomannan is a dietary fiber which absorbs water and makes the user feel full. Studies have found that for Glucomannan to be effective, the user must take 1-2 grams per day. Again, TrimSpa Energy diet pills do not say how much glucomannan they contain so no one can know if it is enough to be effective.

Hoodia gordonni is, unfortunately, a very popular diet pill ingredient. Despite all the hype, there is no scientific evidence that hoodia actually contributes to weight loss.

Guarana is composed mostly of caffeine. When combined with yerba mate and damiana, guarana has been shown to be effective in promoting weight loss. However, on its own guarana has not been shown to cause weight loss.

L-tyrosine has proven to contribute to the ability to work out more effectively and burn more calories. You guessed it–the amount of L-tyrosine in TrimSpa Energy is not disclosed.

One very big red flag when looking at a pill with a proprietary blend is to look at the serving size. Their daily serving size is 4 tablets, but then they include some very ineffective fillers (hoodia goronii being the biggest). This pushes out space for something effective like Green Tea and l-tyrosine. Combine that with the fact that, as mentioned above, glucomannan requires 1 to 2 grams per day and the whole TrimSpa Energy formulation is in now in question.

What are the side effects of TrimSpa Energy diet pills?

Side effects include jitters, anxiety, sleeplessness, headaches, hot flashes, depression, mood swings, thyroid problems, and dizziness.

How much does TrimSpa Energy cost?

One bottle of 90 tablets costs $19.95. If you take the recommended dosage of 4 tablets per day, it will cost you less than a dollar a day. While this is relatively inexpensive for a diet pill, it is still too expensive since there is no way to know if it will be effective.

TrimSpa Energy Conclusion

This TrimSpa Energy review finds that TrimSpa Energy does include some clinically proven ingredients. However, they fail to disclose the amounts of any of our ingredients. This means there is no way to determine the effectiveness of TrimSpa diet pills. If you are serious about losing weight, look for a diet pill that uses clinically proven ingredients in proven amounts.

They also claim, “Stimerex-ES® contains peak dose concentrations of Hi-Tech’s most pivotal thermogenic agents to produce this powerful fat loss masterpiece.” This Stimerex-ES review will endeavor to dissect these claims and explore the effects of ephedra.

What are the ingredients contained in Stimerex-ES?

Stimerex-ES diet pills contain the following ingredients

Proprietary Blend: with Thermo-RX 510mg and Extend-RX Technology

25mg Ephedra Extract(leaves)

Acacia Rigidula 70% (leaves)

Theobroma

Cocoa Extract

Phenylethylamine HCL

Citrus Aurantium Extract (25mg Synephrine)

Green Tea Extract (leaves)

Yohimbe Extact (bark)

Naringen (fruit) 6-7

Dihydroxy bergamottin (fruit)

Caffeine (anhydrous) 150mg

Other Ingredients: Microcystalline Cellulose, Dextrose, Sodium Starch Glucolate, Magnesium Stearate, Stearic Acid Silica, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Red #40

Ephedra is a stimulant which has been proven to increase metabolism, thus leading to weight loss. However, due to the serious side effects of ephedra, it has been banned by the FDA. However, it is still available on the internet. Side effects from ephedra include irritability, dizziness, headache, insomnia, perspiration, irregular heartbeat, seizures, heart attack, stroke, or death. This Stimerex-ES review finds you should educate yourself on the effects of ephedra if you are considering taking it.

The overall conclusion

These results suggest that the segment wall, an edible fraction, from Satsuma mandarin orange might be useful as a functional food, especially as a fat-reducing material ((J Nutr Sci Vitaminol (Tokyo). 2008 Dec;53(6):547-51.))

Acacia Rigidula is included in many diet pills. However, there is no scientific evidence showing it contributes to weight loss.

Phenethylamine is an alkaloid that functions as a neurotransmitter in the brain. Some people call Phenetyhlamine “The Love Drug” because it is included in chocolate but the question arises as to the validity of that claim because Pheneythlamine is metabolized so quickly, it’s doubtful that any significant amount would reach the brain quickly enough to cause an effect.

Note: Don’t be impressed; Caffeine anhydrous is simply dehydrated caffeine.

How much does Stimerex-ES cost?

If you purchase Stimerex-ES diet pills on the manufacturer’s website (Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals) you will pay $69.95 for 90 capsules. You can find it online for $39.95. If you take the recommended dosage of three capsules per day, one bottle will last one month. At $1.33 per day, Stimerex-ES isn’t especially expensive, but because of the “Proprietary Blend”, there is no way to know if this product really is effective.

Is there a guarantee with Stimerex Thermo Rx?

The Hi-Tech Pharmaceuticals website (Stimerex Thermo Rx manufacturer) explains that they give refunds only if the product is unopened and is returned within 30 days. Shipping fees are not refunded. In other words, if you buy one bottle, try it, and it makes you sick or something, you don’t get a refund. The only way you could get a refund is if you bought multiple bottles, opened one, but sent the other back. This is the classic no-guarantee guarantee.

Stimerex-ES Conclusion

This Stimerex-ES review finds we cannot recommend this product for the following reasons: 1) Stimerex-ES diet pills contain ephedra, which has been banned by the FDA. It has been classified as a dangerous ingredient. 2) Stimerex-ES does contain some proven ingredients, but they fail to tell how much of each ingredient is included. We recommend looking for a diet pill which contains safe, proven ingredients in clinically proven amounts.

TrimSpa is a diet supplement which claims to burn body fat and suppress appetite, ultimately leading to weight loss. However, few, if any, of the TrimSpa claims have been proven by research. According to the TrimSpa website:

“Along with diet and exercise, this amazing formula has been clinically demonstrated to improve weight loss results over diet and exercise alone”.

This is a typical claim made by diet supplement companies and ought to be questioned. Just how much does it improve weight loss results? A TrimSpa infomercial claims, “it [TrimSpa] improves your body’s ability to burn fat more effectively in addition to mobilizing fat molecules that have been stored in your cells so they can be processed and used as energy.” Any weight loss success from using TrimSpa is because of water reduction and appetite suppression, not to mention exercise and proper diet. There is no concrete evidence to show that TrimSpa actually burns body fat.

TrimSpa Ingredients

While individual ingredients are listed on the TrimSpa bottle, specific amounts are given only for chromium (with each capsule containing 75 micrograms) and an “x32 proprietary blend” containing glucomannan, cocoa extract, green tea extract, hoodia gordonii, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, glucosamine HCL, citrus naringin, and vanadium. This “proprietary blend” makes up 667.5 milligrams per capsule. While glucomannan, green tea and to varying degrees cocoa and chromium have been clinically proven to aid in weight loss, with no listing of actual amounts of these ingredients in TrimSpa, it is hard to compare TrimSpa with the clinical results.

As a side note, the fact that they’re including Hoodia Gordonii in their supplement makes me squeamish. There are very few diet pill ingredients out there getting more hype with absolutely no research to back it.

Celebrity Endorsement

Before her death, Anna Nicole Smith was the spokeswoman for TrimSpa. The company claimed Smith’s impressive weight loss was due to TrimSpa. However, Smith herself admitted she also took laxatives and trained with a personal trainer. With Smith’s endorsement, TrimSpa enjoyed massive success nationwide. However, the FTC found TrimSpa’s claims were sensationalized and untrue.

TrimSpa Controversy

On January 4, 2007 the U.S. Federal Trade Commission announced that the marketers of TrimSpa were ordered to pay a settlement of $1.5 million in response to an FTC complaint of making unsupported claims in advertisements. TrimSpa was also prohibited “from making any claims about the health benefits, performance, efficacy, safety, or side effects of TrimSpa, Hoodia gordonii, or any dietary supplement, food, drug, or health-related service or program, unless the claims are true, not misleading, and substantiated by competent and reliable scientific evidence.”

TrimSpa Side Effects

TrimSpa has several side effects which vary from minimal to serious depending on the individual taking the supplement. These side effects include insomnia and migraines (likely due to the high levels of caffeine), heart palpitations, chromium toxicity, and increased blood glucose.

TrimSpa Drug Interactions

TrimSpa should not be taken with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant drugs. TrimSpa can also interfere with prescription drugs including Antiarrhythmics, Anticoagulants, Calcium channel blockers, and Immunosuppresants. Serious complications including stroke, coma, seizures, and toxicity can result when these drugs are combined with TrimSpa.

TrimSpa Food Dyes/Additives

TrimSpa is not all natural. It contains food dyes and additives including sodium carboxymethylcellulose, FD&C Red #40 (red dye), and Aluminum lake (blue dye).

TrimSpa Review Conclusion

TrimSpa is relatively expensive. If the recommended dosage (4 capsules per day) is taken, TrimSpa will cost over $48 per month. (To be honest, we recommend some products that are more expensive than TrimSpa, but what you really need to determine is value, which is basically a cost to potential weight-loss consideration).

TrimSpa, despite its celebrity endorsement, is nothing special; it is no better than any other diet supplement–possibly worse. Considering the action taken by the FTC, any claim made by TrimSpa should be questioned immediately. While those taking TrimSpa may notice weight loss, it is not due to loss of body fat, as claimed by TrimSpa.
