Nueslim-19 diet pills cost $14.95 per bottle (a one month supply). The Nueslim-19 website claims this is a “limited time offer.” The normal price is $39.95 per bottle, with a discount for bulk purchases. Companies often lead you to believe you are getting a great deal to get you to purchase their product.

Although $14.95 is relatively inexpensive for a diet pill, the proven ingredients have not been included in the necessary amounts to cause weight loss. Thus, any amount for Nueslim-19 would be too much; Nueslim-19 will not yield weight loss.

The Nueslim-19 website is packed with typical sensationalized testimonials and before and after photos. There are also attempts to compare Nueslim-19 with other diet pills, but they fail to give enough information to make an accurate comparison.

This Nueslim-19 review finds that Nueslim-19 does contain some proven diet pill ingredients. However, there is not enough of these ingredients to be effective in contributing to weight loss. What are the ingredients in Xerisan ASA?

The ingredients in one tablet of Xerisan ASA diet pills are as follows

Pyruvate, another one of its popular ingredients, is said to promote the activity of cells, thus increasing your metabolic rate. One study looked at the effects of obese women over a three week period. The women were divided into two groups. Each group adhered to a 1000-calorie liquid diet. One group supplemented with 36g of pyruvate, while the other took a placebo. At the end of the study, the group that had taken pyruvate lost 13 lb. while the placebo group lost only 9.5 lb. — a difference of 3.5 lb or 37%.

So Pyruvate’s great, right? Well, did you catch the dosage? The pyruvate group took 36 grams of pyruvate. That would mean you would be taking 240 every day capsules of Xerisan ASA just to get the pyruvate dosage.

Supposedly Phaseolus vulgaris interferes with the pancreas’ ability to produce the enzyme called alpha-amylase, which is needed to break starches down into the simple sugars that are easily absorbed by the body. More research needs to be done to prove this theory.

One study performed in December of 2007 looked at the lipolysis (fat loss) effects of Satsuma mandarin orange (Citrus unshu Mark) peel on the fat cells of rats (I know, it’s always rats). A high concentration of Synephrine was present in the peel and lipolysis effects were present.

The overall conclusion:

These results suggest that the segment wall, an edible fraction, from Satsuma mandarin orange might be useful as a functional food, especially as a fat-reducing material ((J Nutr Sci Vitaminol (Tokyo). 2008 Dec;53(6):547-51.)) However, more human research needs to be done to determine the optimal amount for human weight loss.

Chromium Picolinate (chromium + picolinic acid) is pushed by companies as an aid to losing weight. It is known that small quantities of chromium are “needed for glucose utilization by insulin in normal health, but deficiency is extremely rare in developed nations.”

Do you have a chromium deficiency? Doubt it. However, some studies are finding that Chromium Picolinate reduces insulin resistance, thus leading to weight loss. Other studies claim to find the opposite.
