7-DFBX Cost

7-DFBX costs $19.99 per bottle (for a one week supply). This is very expensive, considering there is no evidence to show that 7-DFBX actually works.

7-DFBX Claims

7-DFBX claims you can lose up to 21 pounds in one week by taking 7-DFBX diet pills. Anything that promises more than about a pound a day should be questioned. If you do happen to lose some weight when taking 7-DFBX, you won’t keep the weight off. 7-DFBX does warn to take a week off in between bottles.

7-DFBX Conclusion

This 7-DFBX review finds this product is not worth your money. You might experience some weight loss from 7-DFBX, but only because you will be stuck on the toilet.

7-DFB (Seven day fat burner)

According to their website, 7-DFB (seven day fat burner) is “the ONLY Fat Burner in the World that can help YOU Lose 7, 10, 14, Even Up To 21 POUNDS in Just 7-Days”. They claim the average loser loses 8.75 pounds in 7 days. This 7-DFB review will determine if there is any validity to these lofty claims.
What are the ingredients in 7-DFB?

The following is the ingredient list found on the 7-DFB website

Serving Size: 6 Capsules
Amount per 6 capsule serving

Total carbohydrate 2000 mg
Dietary Fiber 2000 mg
Potassium Gluconate 200 mg
Chromium Polynicotinate 2 mg
Dandelion Root 1500 mg
Psyllium Husk 500 mg
Oat Bran Fiber 500 mg
Rice Bran Fiber 500 mg
Uva Ursi 500 mg
Glucomannan 500 mg
Flax seed powder 500 mg
Cranberry 500 mg
Buchu Leaves 4:1 200 mg
Alfalfa 200 mg
Juniper Berries 200 mg
Garlic 100:1 200 mg
Ginger Root 120 mg
Parsley 100 mg
Mint leaf 100 mg
Red Raspberry Leaf 70 mg
Lemon Peel 70 mg
Hawthorn Berries 70 mg
Red Clover Leaf 70 mg
Burdock Root 70 mg
Irish Moss 70 mg
Aloe Vera 70 mg
Sage 70 mg
Cayenne Pepper 70 mg
Noni 50 mg
Mangosteen 50 mg
Pomegranate 50 mg
Apple Cider Vinegar 50 mg
Grapefruit Seed 50 mg

What a long list of ingredients! The 7-DFB website has a description of each ingredient. In addition to those listed on the bottle, they also list Caffeine Anyhdrous, apple pectin, fennel seed, and goldenseal.
This seems strange since these ingredients are not listed on the bottle.

Chromium Picolinate (chromium + picolinic acid) is pushed by companies as an aid to losing weight. It is known that small quantities of chromium are “needed for glucose utilization by insulin in normal health, but deficiency is extremely rare in developed nations.” ((http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromium_picolinate))
Some claim chromium picolinate reduces insulin resistance and leads to weight loss. However, studies show mixed results.

Do you have a chromium deficiency? Probably not.

Glucomannan is a dietary fiber which makes you feel full. Studies have shown it is effective in promoting weight loss, but only if you take 2-4 grams per day. The amount of glucomannan in 7-DFB diet pills is not enough to cause weight loss.

The remainder of the ingredients in 7-DFB might be healthy, but they have no effect on weight loss (unless you call a laxative effect a way to promote weight loss). This 7-DFB review finds there is no ingredient in 7-DFB which has been proven to contribute to weight loss (at least not in proven amounts).
How much does 7-DFB cost?

One bottle of 7-DFB diet pills costs $19.99 for a seven day supply. However, if you join the Orovo club (a multi-level marketing company) you can get a bottle of 7-DFB for about $5 (after you pay full price for one product).

How should 7-DFB be taken?

The recommended dosage is 6 capsules twice a day for seven days. Allow 7-days without using the product in between cycles.
What are the side effects of 7-DFB?

Side effects of 7-DFB diet pills include frequent bowel movements, increased heart rate, and nausea.
Is there a guarantee for 7-DFB?

The 7-DFB website says they will give a full refund if you return your empty bottle (plus any unopened bottles). You will receive a “prompt refund” minus shipping and handling.

7-DFB conclusion

This 7-DFB review finds this is not a typical fat burner. It does not contain ingredients typically contained in fat burners. There are no proven ingredients in 7-DFB diet pills. Any claim that you can lose 21 pounds in seven days should be a huge red flag. Maybe you could lose weight on 7-DFB but it would most likely be because you would be stuck on the toilet for a week. If you really want to lose weight, look for a diet pill that includes proven ingredients in proven amounts.

“Eliminates up to 1000 calories per day
Boosts your energy levels
Curbs your cravings” (website). This Nitetrim review will detail the ingredients in Nitetrim as well as reveal the inconsistencies in Nitetrim’s marketing to help you determine if Nitetrim diet pills are right for you.

Hydroxycitric Acid Update

On May 1, 2009 the FDA issued a warning to consumers to stop taking Hydroxycut-branded products. Over more than 7 years they have received 23 reports of health related issues with those taking Hydroxycut-branded products. The main health concern appears to be serious liver-related problems. Iovate Health Sciences Inc., the makers of Hydroxcut, have voluntarily recalled all of the products under question in the FDA’s report

Common symptoms of liver complications include:

jaundice (yellowing of the skin)

brown urine

light colored stools

unusual tiredness

stomach pain

itching

loss of appetite

weakness

vomiting

In light of the recent FDA warning concerning the possible dangers of Hydroxycut-branded diet pills, many believe that the associated health risks are likely due to the inclusion of the commonly used ingredient Hydroxycitric Acid, or HCA. And while according to the FDA, “The agency has not yet determined which ingredients, dosages, or other health-related factors may be associated with risks related to these Hydroxycut products. The products contain a variety of ingredients and herbal extracts.” you can never be too cautious.

So, while further study and research is needed to confirm the link between HCA and the liver problems, until proven otherwise any products that contain HCA are no longer recommended on this website.

Nitetrim Ingredients

Vitamin C 5 mg
Chromium Picolinate 30 mcg
Proprietary Blend 500 mg
Hoodia Gordonii
Apple Cider Vinegar
Garcinia Cambogia
Ginger Root
Cayenne
Bladderwrack
Bromelain
Mustard Seed

Vitamin C has many healthy benefits, but it has not been shown to contribute to weight loss.

Some studies have shown Chromium Picolinate contributes to weight loss. However, other studies have found the opposite. We cannot back Chromium until more conclusive research is done.

Hoodia Gordonii is a popular diet pill ingredient. Despite all the hype, there is NO clinical evidence showing hoodia actually contributes to weight loss. Don’t be fooled by the endorsements of celebrities; hoodia will not help you lose weight.

Apple cider vinegar is used as a home remedy to treat various conditions; however, there is no evidence to show apple cider vinegar contributes to weight loss.

Garcinia cambogia contains Hydroxycitric acid (HCA), which has been shown to contribute to weight loss. Unfortunately, Nitetrim fails to disclose how much garcinia cambogia it contains, making it impossible for this Nitetrim review to determine if there is enough garcinia cambogia included to be effective.

Ginger root is used to calm the stomach, as it reduces stomach acid. It does not contribute to weight loss.

Bladderwrack is used as a laxative. There is no evidence that Bladderwrack directly contributes to weight loss.

Bromelain is an anti-inflammatory. There is no research to suggest Bromelain contributes to weight loss.

Nitetrim Trial Offer

Nitetrim offers a trial offer. However, the website is contradictory on the terms of the trial offer. The website says they have a 15 day trial offer, but when you click on the link about the trial offer, it says the offer is 30 days. Regardless, if you do not cancel within the trial period, you are signed up for autoship (they automatically send you the product each month and charge your credit card for it). This is listed only in the very fine print, which is probably the way Nitetrim wants it so people are tricked into buying Nitetrim diet pills.

Nitetrim Cost

Nitetrim costs $49.95 per month, which is automatically charged to your credit card. This is way too much for Nitetrim. It contains only one clinically proven ingredient (garcinia cambogia) and does not list how much of it is included.

Nitetrim Guarantee

Nitetrim does have a guarantee, if you can call it that. The refund policy for Nitetrim is incredibly long and complicated. Basically, you can only return unopened bottles and if you cancel within 7 days of the next shipment, you will be charged a 30% restocking fee plus another $6.95. You can only get a refund within 30 days of purchase.

Nitetrim Conclusion

This Nitetrim review finds Nitetrim diet pills are not worth your time or money. Nitetrim contins only one proven ingredient (garcinia cambogia), and since Nitetrim hides how much of it is included, it is impossible to know if there is enough garcinia cambogia to be effective. The marketing of Nitetrim is confusing and inconsistent. If they can’t even figure out what their policies are, how is the consumer supposed to?

Detoxatrim is made specifically for women. This Detoxatrim review will detail the ingredients in Detoxatrim and help you decide if Detoxatrim is the right choice for you.

Detoxatrim Ingredients

The Detoxatrim system contains two parts: a 24-Hour Fat Flush and Detoxatrim Daily Capsules

24-Hour Fat Flush Ingredients
Apple, white grape, orange, blueberry, grape, strawberry, peach, pear, carrots, tomato, celery, spinach, yellow pepper.

While these ingredients are very healthy and give essential vitamins and minerals, it is unlikely that there will be any noticeable change in your body within 24-hours of taking the 24-Hour Fat Flush (unless it gives you the runs).

Detoxatrim Daily Capsule Ingredients
Acidophilus, Bifidus, FOS (Fructooligosaccharides)
Caprylic acid
Glutamine
Hoodia Gordonii has NOT been proven to contribute to weight loss.
Glucomannan is a dietary fiber. It makes the body feel full, which can lead to weight loss. Studies have found that to be effective, glucomannan needs to be taken in doses of 1-2 grams per day. Detoxatrim does not list how much glucomannan is contained in the formula.
Chromium has shown contradictory results in clinical studies; some studies have found chromium contributes to weight loss, while other studies have found it does not.
Advantra-Z contains Synephrine, which has been shown to cause weight loss. Unfortunately, Detoxatrim diet pills fail to reveal how much Advantra-Z is contained in the formula, making it impossible for this Detoxatrim review to determine if the Advantra-Z in Detoxatrim is enough to be effective.
Green tea is another clinically proven diet pill ingredient. Again, Detoxatrim fails to say how much green tea is contained.
Grapefruit Extract
Apple Cider Vinegar
Papaya
Uva Ursi

This long list of ingredients can be overwhelming. Don’t be fooled–just because a diet pill has dozens of ingredients doesn’t mean it is more effective than others. In fact, a long list of ingredients often means the diet pill company is being cheap by including only a very small amount of each ingredient.

Detoxatrim Cost

Detoxatrim diet pills cost $21.95 for 112 capsules (a one-month supply). The 24-Hour Fat Flush costs $14.99 for a one-month supply. The links on the Detoxatrim website are all functioning except the link to purchase the products. You would think they would be sure this link was working.

Detoxatrim Claims

Detoxatrim claims it is a “long-term weight loss solution” (website). They really emphasize the importance of detoxing your system. However, they also say you have to keep detoxing your system, so how is that a long-term solution? They want you to believe Detoxatrim is a unique product that will give you unmatched results. The truth is Detoxatrim is really no different than dozens of other diet pills.

Detoxatrim Conclusion

This Detoxatrim review finds that Detoxatrim is nothing special. The 24-Hour Fat Flush will most likely only give you the runs. The Detoxatrim diet pills do contain some proven ingredients, but they fail to list how much of each ingredient is included. Your best bet for weight loss is to take a diet pill that includes clinically proven ingredients in proven amounts.

As you can see, Orovo Detox has thrown in everything but the kitchen sink. Realize that just because a product has a long list of ingredients doesn’t mean it is an effective product. In fact, the opposite is often true. They want you to believe that the number of ingredients makes it more effective.

In this very long list of ingredients, only one, green tea, has been proven to contribute to weight loss.

Green tea is an excellent diet pill ingredient. It has been proven to significantly contribute to weight loss IF it is used in the correct amount. However, Orovo Detox includes green tea only in a “blend”, so the actual amount of green tea is not disclosed. Therefore, this Orovo Detox review cannot determine whether the amount of green tea included in Orovo Detox diet pills is enough to cause weight loss.

DMAE is supposed to have a positive influence on mood, but more human research is needed before it can be considered a good ingredient in a diet pill.

Wheatgrass is supposed to detoxify heavy metals from the blood stream and improve the digestive system, among many other things. While wheatgrass is healthy, there is no proof it contributes to weight loss.

The remainder of these ingredients, while they may be healthy, do not directly contribute to weight loss.

How much does Orovo Detox cost?

This is a tricky question. The official website says the retail price is $89.95 for one bottle, but you can buy it on the website for $39.99. You can save even more if you buy in bulk. This is a classic retail marketing tactic used to make people feel like they are getting a good deal so they will buy more.

Orovo has an income-opportunity side to it as well. If you sign up for their autoship program then you’ll be able to refer friends and earn money when friends by Orovo products. If you’re a great salesman then i suppose you could earn some extra money doing this.

How should Orovo Detox diet pills be taken?

The Orovo Detox website instructs that the product should be taken for seven days (4 capsules twice a day) followed by a seven day rest period. Why is this? According to the website, “Because you will lose weight faster with Orovo DETOX than any other weight loss product ever made. The combination of the original 10 SuperFoods plus 31 Detox Agents promote results so FAST that taking for more than 7 consecutive days will cause you to lose weight TOO QUICKLY!”

We doubt the product will help you lose weight too quickly, based on our review as stated above. Throwing out cautions like this are usually meant to simply legitimize the product in a prospect’s eyes.

What are the side effects of Orovo Detox?

The side effects of Orovo Detox diet pills may include frequent bowel movements (though not explosive and without warning, a la Alli), anxiety, and possibly jitters.

This Orovo Detox review finds that Orovo Detox diet pills are a nice contender for a detox option. We like it overall.

LipoRexin by GD Labs claims to be “The only diet pill with Brazillian green tea.” They also claim you will lose 5-12 pounds per month on LipoRexin diet pills. This LipoRexin review will explain exactly what this product is and how legitimate these claims are.

What are the ingredients in LipoRexin?

The following is the ingredient list for LipoRexin

Chromium 100 mcg

Caffeine Anhydrous USP 100 mg

Proprietary INteliSlim Blend 325 mg

Gymnema Sylvestre

Brazilian Green Tea Extract

Dandelion Root

Milk Thistle

Cayenne Pepper

Apple Cider Vinegar

Noni Fruit Extract

Chromium Picolinate (chromium + picolinic acid) is pushed by companies as an aid to losing weight. It is known that small quantities of chromium are “needed for glucose utilization by insulin in normal health, but deficiency is extremely rare in developed nations.”

Do you have a chromium deficiency? Probably not. However, some studies are finding that Chromium Picolinate reduces insulin resistance, thus leading to weight loss. Other studies claim to find the opposite.

See our Chromium Picolinate Review for more detailed information on clinical studies and findings. Regardless of whether Chromium Picolinate does actually contribute to weight loss, there is not as much contained in LipoRexin as was used in clinical studies, so it is highly unlikely that the Chromium Picolinate in LipoRexin will bring about weight loss.

Caffeine has been shown to increase metabolic function. Be aware of your own reactions to caffeine before taking a product containing this ingredient.

Gymnema Sylvestre is supposed to control blood glucose levels.

Green Tea Extract is one of our favorite diet pill ingredients. It has been proven to promote weight loss. However, the amount of green tea contained in LipoRexin is not disclosed. Therefore, this LipoRexin review cannot determine whether or not the amount of green tea in LipoRexin is effective.

How much does LipoRexin cost?

LipoRexin costs $13 per bottle (for a 1 month supply). This is extremely inexpensive. We see it posted at a retail price of in the $70s, but see also that it’s readily available for $13 per bottle on eBay. LipoRexin diet pills can only be purchased on Ebay. You can get a better price if you buy in bulk.

Who is GD Labs really?

You have to dig deep to find out who manufactures LipoRexin. If you go to liporexin.com, you will find multiple products including skin care products, diet pills, and “body enhancement” products. These products are all made by GD Labs but are only available on Ebay.

At first pass when examining GD Labs, it appears that people haven’t been too happy. However, the boards on which the mud is being slung all seem to be promoting some alternative to a GD Labs product. For example, a poster will say something along the lines of, “Liporexin didn’t work for me at all! I felt sick when I took it! I then tried [insert competitor product] and the pounds just started melting away though.”

This places the negatives into question (negatives are the opposites of diet pill claims. Diet pill companies will frequently pose as consumers to slander each other — with gusto at times — it’s an interesting phenomenon, the extent of which is somewhat unique to the industry).

The only time consumer feedback can truly count is when it can be verified. We dug through thousands of feedback reports for GD Labs (through the seller Fibersyn) and note a very high consumer satisfaction rating — especially given their apparent volume. I honestly find the eBay feedback more reliable than anonymous forum posts — by orders of magnitude.

Does this mean LipoRexin gets a thumbs up from us? Nah, though for $13 it’s a very inexpensive experiment.

LipoRexin Conclusion

Liporexin is a moderate diet pill at best. We’re fairly certain there are others that would provide some more weight loss benefit.
