The short of it is that you’re getting a lot of high quality weight loss ingredients here. They’ve basically taken the SuperFood ingredient profile of the original Lipovox and added a ton of other effective ingredients. Many of them have been proven in clinical studies to aid in weight loss. I would like to see them disclose how much of each individual ingredient is included.

One the things that really impressed me with Lipovox Hardcore Detox is their money back guarantee. In the diet pill industry, a good guarantee is anything from 60 to 90 days. Lipovox HardCore Detox offers a Lifetime guarantee on all unopened bottles AND on one empty bottle. This kind of guarantee is rarely seen in this industry.

Not a Big Fan of the Marketing

The same as the original Lipovox website, Lipovox Hardcore Detox still has the magazine covers posted near the top of the site. This is a common tactic used to add perceived credibility. It implies that the product was either feature in or endorsed by the magazine or celebrity. For example, the SuperFoods were definitely covered in both the Oprah magazine and TV show, but in no way did they endorse the Lipovox Hardcore Detox product.

Price

The Lipovox Hardcore Detox website has the product listed at $49.99 (only $20 more than the original Lipovox). If the product is effective, this is a decent price for a diet pill.

Conclusion

Lipovox Hardcore Detox is definitely a step up from the original Lipovox formula. The inclusion of so many proven ingredients should add quite a bit to its effectiveness. Since the appearance of possible health issues associated with HCA, however, I’m not able to recommend the diet pill. The price is good and the guarantee is stellar. If it weren’t for the HCA, I’d give Lipovox a green light.

Some of the ingredients in Aspire are good and some are hype. If they disclosed the amounts of each ingredient, it would be much easier to gauge it’s effectiveness.

Aspire’s Marketing

First, the positive. I like that Aspire lists all of the ingredients in the different formulas and even has a little information about each one. This can be found by going to the FAQ’s, then clicking the question about the ingredients. While I wish they told us how much of each ingredient is in the mix, they’ve done more than some companies that I’ve seen.

What I don’t like about Aspire’s marketing is that the entire website feels like some hyped up sales pitch that almost tries to play off of people’s insecurities. You’ll see comments such as, “Do You Feel Like Crying When You Look In The Mirror? Use Aspire And Laugh Out Loud When You Get On The Scale” or “heads will turn wherever and whenever you walk by.”

Oh, and this was a favorite:

You should not be spending your time worrying or crying about your weight. If you really want to be slim and gorgeous and wear those hot bathing suits you’ve seen on the beaches (and only dreamed of wearing), we have the answer you’ve been waiting for.

As if we have to be slim and skinny in order to be happy and beautiful. I hope you can see through the shallow marketing.

I don’t however, see any big red flags other than the distasteful sales copy.

Aspire’s Money Back Guarantee

I was glad to see that Aspire offers a 90 day money back guarantee. Anything over 60 days in this industry is pretty good, so 90 days is a pretty solid guarantee.

I’m somewhat confused at something in their guarantee. Here’s what it says (emphasis added): “If you’re not happy with Aspire, contact us within 90 days of your purchase date and return the unused portion (even if you’ve used everything), and you’ll get a full refund (less shipping), no questions asked!”

The first part makes me believe that you can only get a refund for the unused (or unopened) bottles. But the second part in parenthesis makes it sound like you get a refund on all bottles, even if they were used (and are now empty).

I don’t have any big reason to believe that this ambiguous terminology isn’t intentionally trying to trick consumers, but If I were you I’d play it safe and only count on getting refunded for unused bottles.

Aspire’s Price

A one month supply is $49.97. If it’s effective, this isn’t a bad price for a weight loss product. Of course, they suggest you take it for 3 to 6 months (likely to pad their pockets a little more).

Conclusion

The Aspire weight loss product consist of a pretty good ingredient profile. Many of the ingredients have been proven, and some have not. Overall, as long as the ingredients are included in the correct amounts (which we can’t verify since they don’t disclose it) than it’s likely to be fairly effective. I like their guarantee and the price is decent. I don’t, however, like the manner in which they’ve marketed their product. You be the judge.

LipoFlush diet pills supposedly “dramatically decrease body fat, increase energy levels, preserve skeletal muscle, and provide major health benefits” (website). This LipoFlush review will dissect the exhausting ingredient list and reveal the truth about the research done on LipoFlush to show you that LipoFlush is not the product you are looking for.

Hydroxycitric Acid Update

On May 1, 2009 the FDA issued a warning to consumers to stop taking Hydroxycut-branded products. Over more than 7 years they have received 23 reports of health related issues with those taking Hydroxycut-branded products. The main health concern appears to be serious liver-related problems. Iovate Health Sciences Inc., the makers of Hydroxcut, have voluntarily recalled all of the products under question in the FDA’s report

Common symptoms of liver complications include:

This ingredient list is overwhelming. The long and short of it is only tyrosine has been proven to contribute to weight loss. Not only that, Slenderful fails to list the amount of tyrosine it contains. To be effective at causing weight loss, tyrosine has to be taken in doses of 500 to 1500 mg per day. It is extremely unlikely that Slenderful contains enough tyrosine to contribute to weight loss.

Companies often do this to make you think you are getting a great deal so you are more likely to buy the product. Don’t get suckered into buying Lipotrox; there is no reason to believe Lipotrox will actually work.

Lipotrox Customer Service and Guarantee

There is no customer service phone number for Lipotrox. They do have a customer service email address. We emailed Lipotrox to find out about their guarantee, but we only got an auto response. They did not answer any of our questions. Thus, as the Lipotrox website says nothing about a guarantee or refund policy, we can only assume there is no guarantee with Lipotrox.

It is concerning that there is no good way to get a hold of Lipotrox customer service. That is enough itself to keep us from recommending Lipotrox.

This Lipotrox review finds Lipotrox diet pills are just another ineffective, overpriced diet pill. Don’t bother with this product; you will end up wanting your money back and you won’t be able to get it back. CLA contributes to weight loss. However, Thermoloid does not say how much CLA it contains.
