It sounds like you&#039;re suggesting the need for a whole lot more caffeine in order to lose weight. Please be cautious. There are so many products that contain higher and higher amounts of caffeine today -- from energy drinks (one has almost  1200 mg caffeine) to even chewing gum and potato chips. One of the problems is &quot;caffeine intoxication.&quot; The nation&#039;s poison control centers and hospital emergency rooms are seeing increasing numbers of people ill due to caffeine intoxication -- more than half are under 18 years old.
