VPX Meltdown Review
VPX Meltdown is a fat-burning weight loss supplement that gives, “The Euphoria of 40,000 Chocolate Bars that removes fat like a Blow Torch!” (VPX website) While VPX does make some very bold claims, they do back up these claims. Because the ingredients were specifically engineered for this supplement, the biggest question is what the long term effects of this supplement might be.
What makes VPX Meltdown different from other fat-burners?
Like many other fat-burning supplements, VPX Meltdown claims to:
- Suppress your appetite
- Block Fat absorption
- Increase Fat burning potential
- Step-up your metabolism
Take a look at the VPX website and you will realize the manufacturer is very passionate about this product. They have done extensive research and testing to create the ingredients used in this supplement. According to the VPX website, “Interestingly, most of these compound innovations contained in Meltdown didn’t even exist and had to be chemically engineered in the lab.”
They explain further, “We theorized that we could even beat the old-school Ephedrine-Caffeine-Yohimbine combination with a more scientifically hip: Caffeine-Methyl Synephrine-Yohimbine HCl, 11-hydroxy Yohimbine, alpha-Yohimbine stack. And, human subjects (including myself) confirmed that our theory was correct!”
They claim to have amazing results with their superior ingredients, far surpassing the simple ingredients used in other fat-burning supplements. This sounds impressive, but they do not give actual research findings on the website (there are no specific numbers listed).
What are the ingredients in VPX Meltdown?
As explained earlier, many of the ingredients contained in VPX Meltdown were supposedly specifically engineered for this specific product. Here is a list of exactly what those ingredients are (contained in 3 capsules):
Fat Catabolizor™ & ß-3 Potentiator 317mg
Caffeine Anhydrous
M_TTA (Methyl Tetradecylthioacetic Acid)
Yerba Mate Extract
lipolytic Trigger™
3′-5′-CAMP (3′-5′-Cyclic Adenosine Monophosphate)
Super Synephrine™ ß-3 Activator™ 20mg
Methyl-Synephrine HCL
Iphoric® Potent Methyl ß-3 PEA Matrix 138mg
R-Beta Methoxyphenylethylamine
N-Methyl-Beta-Phenylethylamine
NorEpiphex™ a2-Andrenergic Blockade Complex 9mg
11-Hydroxy Yohimbine
Yohimbine HCL
Alpha-Yohimbine
NorEpiphex™ M-MAOxidizor-I™ 20mg
Methyl-Hordenine HCL
These ingredients are found in many other weight loss supplements, but in other forms.
VPX Meltdown Must be Targeting 13-Year Old Boys
If you read between the lines here, you’ll notice that they basically have Yohimbe (which is really only effective when combined with guarana and damiana), caffeine, synephrine, and phenylethylamine
I mean seriously folks, “Potentiator?” I get the feeling VPX Meltdown’s creators just sat around with a dictionary and combined their favorite syllables. They’re targeting the ignorant here for sure. They’ve basically made up these compound names as just another wooly ((by ‘wooly’ I mean pulling the wool over your eyes)) marketing technique to appear to be something they’re not.
VPX Meltdown Targeting Euphoria Extremists
When I first heard about “the euphoria of 40,000 chocolate bars” I was a little shocked. I am a choc-aholic, but the thought of the euphoria I feel from one chocolate bar multiplied by 40,000 made me cringe. I am not sure how that can be good for your system. And why would you want the euphoria of 40,000 chocolate bars?
VPX explains, “We originally began working with ordinary ß-PEA and ß-PEA HCl but found these compounds to have far too many limitations. First, they were metabolized far too quickly and secondly, their ability to cross the blood brain barrier was weak and could, therefore, be astronomically improved up to 40 to 60 times by using the R-ß-M-PEA and n-Methyl-ß-PEA versions! This is mind boggling considering that most consumers and other supplement companies are already satisfied with ordinary PEA. But remember, I’m staking my entire career and reputation on my guarantee that Meltdown® is the most profound scientific fat loss innovation of the decade!”
Again, they may have done their own research, but it is not available for consumers to review, and long term effects of these engineered ingredients are unknown.
Yohimbine in high doses has been proven to bring side effects including dizziness, nausea, insomnia, anxiety, and increased blood pressure. Again, we can’t be sure of what the yohimbine in this supplement might bring as far as side effects.
VPX Meltdown Conclusion
VPX Meltdown just had a breakthrough. They invented a new way of leveraging the supplement facts on a diet pill to mislead consumers. Watch for other companies to follow close behind. They fail to provide consumers with the actual results of the research they have “conducted”, which is suspicous. Until VPX releases all the results of their studies we recommend looking for a proven weight loss supplement that doesn’t prey on the ignorant.
