CritiCalorie's Top Diet Pill Pick
Do we ever rate a diet pill positively?. Yes (rarely). Why aren't we recommending ThermoLean Extreme? We're looking for clinically-researched ingredients, at the right (that means clinical) dosage. There are a few diet pills that have chosen this better route, and our favorite is Boda Extract No. 3. You can read our review or go to the official site.
ThermoLean Extreme Review
ThermoLean Extreme is a diet pill which is supposed to provide “extreme fat loss” and “extreme energy”. This ThermoLean Extreme review will explore the ingredients contained in ThermoLean Extreme diet pills as well as what you might be able to expect from this product.

Green tea has been proven to contribute to weight loss when 300 mg are taken per day. The amount of green tea in ThermoLean Extreme diet pills is enough to be effective.
Caffeine has been shown to increase metabolic function and we support it as a diet pill ingredient. Don’t be impressed when they say caffeine anhydrous (here%u2019s why).
Octopamine is closely related to noradrenaline, with effects akin to dopamine. It has become very popular on the internet as a slimming aid because octopamine “may mobilize the release of fat from adipocytes (fat cells).” The catch though, is that the fat released is promptly absorbed by other cells. There is no research to suggest that Octopamine is an effective weight loss agent.
Gugglesterones are supposed to increase thyroid function to promote weight loss. However, studies have had varying results.
One study on coleus forshkohli found, “Oral ingestion of forskolin (250 mg of 10% forskolin extract twice a day) for a 12-week period was shown to favorably alter body composition while concurrently increasing bone mass and serum free testosterone levels in overweight and obese men. The results indicate that forskolin is a possible therapeutic agent for the management and treatment of obesity.” ((http://www.nature.com/oby/journal/v13/n8/abs/oby2005162a.html))
Is Synephrine effective? One study performed in December of 2007 looked at the lipolysis (fat loss) effects of Satsuma mandarin orange (Citrus unshu Mark) peel on the fat cells of rats (I know, it’s always rats). A high concentration of Synephrine was present in the peel and lipolysis effects were present.
The overall conclusion on Synephrine:
These results suggest that the segment wall, an edible fraction, from Satsuma mandarin orange might be useful as a functional food, especially as a fat-reducing material ((J Nutr Sci Vitaminol (Tokyo). 2008 Dec;53(6):547-51.)).
In a 2005 statement issued by Robert E. Brackett, a director at the Food and Drug Administration before the House of Representatives he mentioned that they had found a 4% concentration of Synephrine in citrus aurantium while other times finding a concentration of chemical Synephrine of up to 90%.
I suppose if you were just going for weight loss, you’d hope yours had the 90% concentration. ThermoLean Extreme lists 6% Citrus Aurantium. Given this low concentration, this ThermoLean Extreme review finds the Synephrine contained in this product will most likely not be effective in promoting weight loss.
Cost of ThermoLean Extreme
You can get 120 capsules of ThermoLean Extreme diet pills for $38.99. If you take the recommended 8 capsules per day, one bottle will last 15 days. In other words, you will be paying nearly $78 per month! This is extremely expensive, especially considering the only ingredients included in proven amounts are green tea and caffeine.
ThermoLean Extreme Conclusion
This ThermoLean Extreme review likes that ThermoLean Extreme diet pills include green tea and caffeine in proven amounts. However, the remaining ingredients are not impressive. We’re fairly certain you’ll lose some weight with ThermoLean, but the cost – coupled with some unproven ingredients – knocks ThermoLean down a few notches.
