Carnitine is an amino acid which helps break down fats. Although Carnitine is included in many weight loss supplements, there is no clinical evidence that it contributes to weight loss. It does, however, play a large role in building muscle.

Alpha Lipoic Acid is a very common dietary supplement. It can be found in spinach, broccoli and potatoes. It is an anti-oxidant that first gained notoriety when it was found that it prevented symptoms of people deficient in Vitamins E and C. Alpha Lipoic Acid has also been used in cases of diabetes because it increases a cell’s uptake of glucose1.

A typical dose of Alpha Lipoic Acid ranges from 100-200 mg per day.  Many times diet pill manufacturer’s will include Alpha Lipoic Acid and claim that the body needs ALA for energy. While it’s true that ALA’s role in energy creation is crucial, the body creates enough ALA on its own to perform this vital function.

Melatonin is an antioxidant. It is also a stimulant to the immune system and promotes restful sleep.

Mexican yam extract is used to treat symptoms associated with menopause.

Stemulite Men’s Formula vs. Women’s Formula

The only difference between the Men’s and Women’s formula is the Mexican Yam Extract, which doesn’t seem make the pills any more women-specific anyway. It appears to be more of a marketing gimmick that anything.

Stemulite–to Autoship or not to Autoship?

Stemulite has a unique ordering feature–they allow you to decide whether you want Stemulite diet pills to be autoshipped or not. In other words, you can decide if you want Stemulite automatically sent every month (with your credit card automatically charged) or if you want to make a one time purchase. Stemulite gives customers a choice, so we don’t hold the autoshipping against them.

Stemulite Cost

Stemulite diet pills cost $59.95 per bottle. Although the label says to take 2 tablets per serving, the Stemulite website indicates to take one Daytime tablet and one Nighttime tablet per day. At this dosage, one bottle will last 30 days. This is fairly expensive considering there is no evidence that any of the ingredients in Stemulite actually contribute to weight loss.

Stemulite Conclusion

This Stemulite review concludes that Stemulite diet pills are nothing out of the ordinary. They do not contain ANY ingredients proven to contribute to weight loss. There is virtually no difference between the men’s and women’s formulas. We recommend looking for a supplement with proven ingredients in proven amounts.
