LipoRexin (GD Labs) Review

Liporexin BottleLipoRexin by GD Labs claims to be “The only diet pill with Brazillian green tea.” They also claim you will lose 5-12 pounds per month on LipoRexin diet pills.  This LipoRexin review will explain exactly what this product is and how legitimate these claims are.

What are the ingredients in LipoRexin?

The following is the ingredient list for LipoRexin

  • Chromium 100 mcg
  • Caffeine Anhydrous USP 100 mg
  • Proprietary INteliSlim Blend 325 mg
    • Gymnema Sylvestre
    • Brazilian Green Tea Extract
    • Dandelion Root
    • Milk Thistle
    • Cayenne Pepper
    • Apple Cider Vinegar
    • Noni Fruit Extract

Chromium Picolinate (chromium + picolinic acid) is pushed by companies as an aid to losing weight. It is known that small quantities of chromium are “needed for glucose utilization by insulin in normal health, but deficiency is extremely rare in developed nations.”

Do you have a chromium deficiency? Probably not. However, some studies are finding that Chromium Picolinate reduces insulin resistance, thus leading to weight loss. Other studies claim to find the opposite.

See our Chromium Picolinate Review for more detailed information on clinical studies and findings. Regardless of whether Chromium Picolinate does actually contribute to weight loss, there is not as much contained in LipoRexin as was used in clinical studies, so it is highly unlikely that the Chromium Picolinate in LipoRexin will bring about weight loss.

Caffeine has been shown to increase metabolic function. Be aware of your own reactions to caffeine before taking a product containing this ingredient.

Gymnema Sylvestre is supposed to control blood glucose levels.

Green Tea Extract is one of our favorite diet pill ingredients. It has been proven to promote weight loss. However, the amount of green tea contained in LipoRexin is not disclosed. Therefore, this LipoRexin review cannot determine whether or not the amount of green tea in LipoRexin is effective.

How much does LipoRexin cost?

LipoRexin costs $13 per bottle (for a 1 month supply). This is extremely inexpensive.  We see it posted at a retail price of in the $70s, but see also that it’s readily available for $13 per bottle on eBay. LipoRexin diet pills can only be purchased on Ebay. You can get a better price if you buy in bulk.

Who is GD Labs really?

You have to dig deep to find out who manufactures LipoRexin. If you go to liporexin.com, you will find multiple products including skin care products, diet pills, and “body enhancement” products. These products are all made by GD Labs but are only available on Ebay.

At first pass when examining GD Labs, it appears that people haven’t been too happy.  However, the boards on which the mud is being slung all seem to be promoting some alternative to a GD Labs product.  For example, a poster will say something along the lines of, “Liporexin didn’t work for me at all!  I felt sick when I took it!  I then tried [insert competitor product] and the pounds just started melting away though.”

This places the negatives into question (negatives are the opposites of diet pill claims.  Diet pill companies will frequently pose as consumers to slander each other — with gusto at times — it’s an interesting phenomenon, the extent of which is somewhat unique to the industry).

The only time consumer feedback can truly count is when it can be verified.  We dug through thousands of feedback reports for GD Labs (through the seller Fibersyn) and note a very high consumer satisfaction rating — especially given their apparent volume.  I honestly find the eBay feedback more reliable than anonymous forum posts — by orders of magnitude.

Does this mean LipoRexin gets a thumbs up from us?  Nah, though for $13 it’s a very inexpensive experiment.

LipoRexin Conclusion

Liporexin is a moderate diet pill at best.  We’re fairly certain there are others that would provide some more weight loss benefit.
