DEX-L10 Review

Dex-L10 HoodiaDEX-L10 is a diet pill that “contains double the amount of hoodia than the closest leading brand” (website). Like most other Hoodia diet pills, DEX-L10 claims to use “pure” Hoodia. They offer “superior” weight loss results. This DEX-L10 review will determine if DEX-L10 diet pills have a leg to stand on in their bold claims. It will also help you learn what you can expect from this product (or any Hoodia product, for that matter).

What are the ingredients in DEX-L10?

DEXL10 Hoodia Gordonii (stem) 1000 mg

As you will note, there is only one ingredient in DEX-L10 diet pills, and that is Hoodia Gordonii. Although Hoodia has made quite a name for itself in the diet pill industry, it has NO scientific research to show that it does, in fact, contribute to weight loss.

The conclusion of the one study that looked into the efficacy of Hoodia’s appetite suppressing claims? The liver metabolizes the hoodia so quickly, that ingesting an amount sufficient enough to make it to the brain to cause the appetite suppressing effect is virtually impossible.  So whether it’s 100 mg or 1,000 mg, there won’t be any weight loss effect.

How much does DEX-L10 cost?

A bottle of 60 capsules of DEX-L10 diet pills will cost you $29.95. If you take the recommended dosage of 6 capsules per day, one bottle will last 10 days. This means you will pay nearly $90 per month for DEX-L10. This DEX-L10 review finds paying $90 per month for this product is ridiculous! Hoodia has NOT been proven to work.

The creative marketing strategies of DEX-L10

Ok, so maybe creative isn’t the right word–how about deceptive? DEX-L10 offers you compensation, fame, and a personal trainer if you sell them your “success” story. Let’s be honest: if a product is really superior to others why would they need to pay people to say it is a good product (Yes, even very well-known products such as Hydroxycut do this)? If DEX-L10 were really as good as they claim to be, they would have plenty of customers offering FREE success stories. It sure makes me skeptical…

“Clinical Studies” done by DEX-L10

According to their website,

“DEX-L10 has been tested in two clinical studies at an FDA approved research facility that tests leading prescription drugs. We’ve done the research on DEX-L10’s efficacy so you don’t have to roll the dice with untested Hoodia products.”

They claim participants in their study lost weight when using DEX-L10. It is interesting that this study has not been published anywhere, including on their website. We see this a lot in the diet pill industry–companies do their own in-house testing and ensure the results are positive about their product. If these were legitimate studies they would have been published.

DEX-L10 Conclusion

This DEX-L10 review finds that this product is really no different than any other diet pill containing Hoodia. And since Hoodia has NOT been scientifically proven to contribute to weight loss, you would be wasting your time buying this product. Do yourself a favor and choose a diet pill that uses proven ingredients in proven amounts.
